A video about a construct map to show its "features" is one thing, but in my case it would spoil too much. That's also the reason why I highly recommend NOT to use noclip on the first "discovery session". Portal 2 kinda scares me. It raises the bar in terms of graphical quality and therefore also the expectations...

hey tk i've made the ramp for the next episode gate room, so if you are ever going to make that room you are free to use mine. ps: will be in my last CAP update expected soon.

Where is will be a spawn point?are you going to make it on Icarus base,or Destiny? and if it will be Icarus,should we dial nine chevron every time we died?i khow in CAP you need a lot of energy to dial SGU gate from Milky Way gate-will it be the same on your map? btw sorry for crappy english.
depends on the distance from icarus base and destiny on the whole map.

Using a SG1 gate, Icarus Base needs a 9 chevron address and at least one ZPM if dialed from a SGU gate. That's automatically done by CAP.

But I'm experimenting with implementing lua into the map for some time now. For example you use a (func_)button and a derma panel opens, letting you lock doors, chose an elevator destination or toggle lights/steam/other stuff. If I can't get it to work, I'll just tie one console to one simple action each.
When you mentioned elevetor - i remember someone was wondering that when the control room is up how to acces it - well - elevator .and i know that there wll not be a control room in this version and nice work keep it up

a bit off topic but is CAP dead? I cant access the website and the forum on here is closed; if CAP is dead then that means less models to work of for this map doesnt it, i mean tiaky said that he would use a few CAP models didnt he?

There's not much new stuff to see anyway. Only the dome room and some areas where the pyramid is supposed to be.
