Yeah I tweaked my graphics down like all the way and it still doesn't work, also it works in singleplayer but I can't join multiplayer maps such as that new vegas gamemode.
What's your specs?
Like for my pc? If so then it's
GeForce 9800 GT: for graphics
3 gigs of ram
2.33 GHz or ram quad core.
Anything else you need?

You could try moving your 9gb of addons temporarily to your desktop and launch GMod (without the addons installed).
Oof, 9GB of addons all loading at once isn't a good idea.
Even without all the addons I still get hl2.exe not working so I guess I'm gonna have to not play it :l thanks for the help though.
Have you tried using the r_hunkalloclightmaps command? It could be that buggering it up.
Can't launch map anymore because of this: [img_thumb]http://img251.imageshack.us/img251/6414/wtfhm.jpg[/img_thumb] Can someone help me fix this problem? I have a good computer and I have my graphics down still and it doesn't work.
Increase your heapsize
Add the command -heapsize [Kilobytes] in Garry's Mod launch options.
Try: -heapsize 1,048,576 and if that doesn't work go high(1.5 gigs=1572864)
this is if you play the gm version
1.- stop downloading porn
2.- delete adwares those shit sometimes they ate your RAM
3.- defrag your hard drive
4.- don't use a shitload of addons
5.- use a memory RAM cleaner if everything fails
i uber cleaned my pc when i downloaded this map and it worked
:frog:
I really hope you're trolling.
[editline]04:59PM[/editline]
It's obvious you just have to download some more ram.

You guys do NPC battles in rp_apoc yet, I just did it for my first times, spreading a bunch of all types everywhere. They were fighting me, fight other NPC's, walk around looking for other things to fight, twas cool
And that canister launcher cloud tool was cool to use in it too

The city area proves to be an awesome spot for NPC battles.
What are the differences between the gm and rp versions?
The city area proves to be an awesome spot for NPC battles.
NPC battles are always awesome with the right map. and this one's probably the best. beats out rp_csdesert2 in my book.

Less physical props, around 700 more edicts so you can spawn more stuff(A lot more stuff)
And cloud has an NPC spawner weapon that can autospawn enemies and stuff so you'll always will have a foe to fight. So I was messing with that for a bit
Hazrd, you're artistic even when it comes to NPC battles.
Off topic: Hey look you're at 999 posts.

stop
stop stop stop stop stop
that will be all
Why is it that on tons of surfaces, spawning npcs will cause the npcs to go
"Underground"
And I have to undo them and find a place suitable for spawning them?
It's because the surfaces are
Displacements
You can't spawn NPCs on them.
This map Is amazing. I would classify it as being as good as evocity2, but in a different sense, as it isn't a neat well placed city. But the map has atmosphere to it, it has a sense of depth. Great job.
You will need to have +r_hunkalloclightmaps 0 in the launch options of Garrysmod for this map to work. To add it to the launch options, Right click Garrys mod in your steam game list, go to properties and click the “Set Launch options...” then paste +r_hunkalloclightmaps 0 in.
I love you.
Holy shit, spawn Companion Cube or Gnome and start to walk or run around the map.... go inside houses and stuff... you will shit in your pants.
I still haven't figured out what the hell you're getting at. I spawned a companion cube and ran around for like 10 minutes expecting something freaky to happen and nothing has happened at all.
I love when people post problems that are resolved in the OP since I'll never answer them

I think he's referring to the friendly Gnome or Companion cube found in the toolbox feature.
