I'm really dissapointed that the town that is in teh nce countryside has no nodes... VERY DISSAPOINTED. Other than that of course, this map is awesome, looks very nice/beautiful, is useful, lags alot when you put ten npcs in it, has a ncie option of water which I chose the low detail knowing my comp couldn't handle much more, still lags, has some neato tunnel systems, dissapointingly has only one car to choose from, but still has those arrows to the said of the choose car option leading me to believe there was meant to be more, has some very cool npc cars, a friendly gnome, and a nice little construct-ish town. And what's up with the keypads next to doors? If they are supposed to lock doors, why don't they? And to the guy above me, rotating doors are wierd when locked... You can lock them, but you can't unlock them, so I believe he had to use lua.
the keypads are entitys to make the doors Wire-controlable you can connect it with a wireninput or button and then controll the door. if you get lua errors simply disable the door controlers with the map config, i don´t know why they don´t work for you for me they work fine maybe you have no wiremod installed ?
Train System is horrible. Sorry, but everything I use apart from epicly tiny trains derail. Hell even the pre-made train derails. Sorry but something has to be done about that, it's a good map, but only the track system is flawed badly.
Let the gnome drive. He knows what he's doing.
I forgot to mention, the Gnome cannot drive. The train flys off the track. Without fail.
how do you derail the train?, I've driven the train at full speed around the corners and I've never derailed, I've only derailed on the turntable 'cause the train sometimes wedges against the walls (misjudging the distance), that brings one odd bug I've found, when the train derails and starts to go sidewards, if you jump out the camera stays at that angle at which that train was when you jumped out so it looks like your running up/down a hill, but it's only happened to me at the turntable other than that I absolutely love this map, great all rounder -edit- here's this bug I was talking about
It just derails for us. Whether the gnome, or hell, even thrusters it will just derail. I think it has something to do with the way the track curves where made. I think there should be a carriage or two that you can spawn in a seperate siding to fit onto the train. But still, why does it derail? The train goes even faster than me when I'm noclipping blatently!
Cutting edge!
Fact: Start the train on Automatic, and hold the train for a second, and let it go. Why do this? Because the train thinks it's one second ahead of where it really is, so if a station was, say, 50 metres ahead and you held it in position for 50 metres, it will stop 50 metres before the station. Absolutely hilarious because we get stuck in the train trying to get out onto the wall of the tunnel :P
Cutting edge!
Quite litterly in some places
fucking awesome, downloading better than gm_botmap v3?
Obviously.

This looks like a kick butt map!! Im downloading it now and can't wait to play!
What is that black box on top of the tunnel anyway? It is only available through noclip and it is all dark and stuff.
fucking awesome, downloading better than gm_botmap v3?
ya also does anyone know someway to download faster i cant wait 1 hour
You know, this is utter genius! It's actually inspired me to start playing gmod more again. Can't see a donation link though, how would I donate (since payday is next Thursday)?
Good Work!! :D
What is that black box on top of the tunnel anyway? It is only available through noclip and it is all dark and stuff.
Yeah I noticed that too, maybe it's some sort of easter egg
Yeah I noticed that too, maybe it's some sort of easter egg
no ^^ in this room the paths from the tunneleditor will spawned and rotate then the paths teleportet to the build area of the tunneleditor. made a camera and spawn with the dozer a path then you can see that :D
This is amazingly awesome.
Donated for sheer awesomeness
Somne critics:

Low/High water-external textures: Now I have to force people who join my server to get one of them instead of having them directly packed into the bsp - Make one default (bsp-packed) and let people install e.g. HQ-Water manually (if they want to)
Lua? It's a map. If you added too much stuff to a build map "just because you can" but servers crash due to this, then don't.
Lua 2? Why wire-stuff?
Lua 3: The luacode is horrible and inefficient. Much could be done without usermessages, much could be done in 1/6 of the lines it currently uses.
Sky-fix: Recompile the map as v3a and include it instead of letting people manually install missing stuff.
Thumbs.db - better cleanup your zipfiles to get rid of unecessary data.
lua/autorun/Gm_Mobenix_mapsettings.lua belongs to lua/autorun/server/Gm_Mobenix_mapsettings.lua - Or clients get lua-errors when joining a server and having mobenix installed on their PC
lua/autorun/client/mobenix_client.lua is never sent to a client in mulltiplayer. - People will get "unhandled userdata"-errors
The main reason why I post this is, I'm a server-hoster and it's a pain to add every single texture and lua manually so people download them on connecting (I use, as many hosters do, sv_fastdownloadurl which makes maps download on a clients maximum internet-speed - So they don't need to manually install things - But this maps is quite of against any of the standards).
And this nice thing happens, if you don't have wire installed (Not everyone has or likes wire - You could have coded the door_controller SENT just to work if wire is installed - 1 line of code - Or simply don't add it): http://pastebin.com/m30455468

http://files.filefront.com/gm+mobenix+v3zip/;13432448;/fileinfo.html Filefront link for those who have trouble with garrysmod.org.
Also: 28.8 MB mp3 files in the map, some (c) and even sounds from EP2 (why not to use the one of EP2 directly?) - That could have made optional.
I want the songs. For my Mp3 player, can someone gimme a linkage?
Also: While doing so much critics I forgot to say that this map is really really nice.
