I like this map, but can you make it to a Rp map (I Love Black Mesa Maps!)
It's a deathrun map, not RP

He ask if he COULD turn it into an RP map, not asking if it WAS an RP map

The style is much different; Deathrun maps are very linear and contain traps. RP maps are supposed to be very open and have useful locations.
Pictures updated in the first post.
Please let me know of anything that you find wrong, so I can fix it.
Release date (beta) is fixed to November 3 at 6PM.
Some credits also go to Stiffy.

Nice map Peter !
is this for CSGO / GMOD ? I imagine a 50mb map with all this custom content '-'
It should be released for CSS first, followed with GMOD, CS:GO and HL2DM.
130 mb map.

130 mb map.
Holy...
I don't know much maps using this size for download, maybe some Zombie Escape maps but for a deathrun ? 130mb to download will be disappointing for some players with slow connetions.
This is a awesome map btw. Maybe with bz2 compression can turn this down a bit.
Have you tought of making this a zombie escape map ? Would be nice.
The only maps I made were deathmatch, deathrun and mg.
It'll be a little bit delayed, I hit the max brush side limit, so I am fixing it, I'll let you know when I'm completely done.
Extremely sorry about the delay, I've been testing so much and fixed many bugs that I couldn't release it yet.
The dead line is now final -> Release 4th November, at 9:30 AM.
Thanks again for waiting, I didn't expect to be that much delayed.
The cubemaps will just crash the game for no apparent reason, can't build the HDR without crashing but LDR went fine.
I found a work around, but this issue was a pain in the butt, uploading right now.
Sorry.

Yeah they got removed, I forgot to upload the final ones with HDR.
Hold on.
EDIT: Ofc, they had to be down for maintenance.
EDIT 2: Images updated.
[editline]4th November 2013[/editline]
I just want to let you know some information here:
I have no idea when I will release the map, and I'll explain you why:
When I compiled the map, all went fine, started the game and made a final test and looked for the lighting, texture shadows and static prop polys.
When I said everything is ok, I exited the game, opened pakrat, removed the cubemaps except for the defaults, saved the map to a different name (added _v1), reloaded the map, attempt to build cubemaps, I get "Map/map.bsp is not writtable!!! Please check your cubemaps."
So I was suprised because it's the first time I get this error, so I didn't understand why this happened.
I exited the game, removed the map, reloaded the original map in pakrat, again removed the cubemaps, but saved it without renaming it, went in-game, it built fine in LDR, but the game crashed when building it in HDR, conclusion, I get a map with only LDR cubemaps.
Trying few fixes, no luck.
So it was annoying because I can't get HDR cubemaps, so I gave up.
Then, I reload the map in Hammer, pack all my custom stuff in Pakrat, save the BSP to the official name "deathrun_black_mesa", I remove the custom folder from my Counter-Strike: Source/cstrike folder, load the map in-game, cubemaps errors printed in the console, map loads for about 5 seconds, then the game crashes.
I am still looking for a fix for all of this, but if you have any solutions, please share your fixes.

Did you try deleting ALL of the cubemaps instead of leaving the defaults in? (aka deleting everything labeled "texture" in pakrat after you compile the map)
Building cubemaps works fine for me after I do that. Also don't give up on the map if you can't get it to work. If worse comes to worse you can still release it without HDR since you have LDR cubemaps working.

That's what I've done, nope.
Anyway, none of the packers will pack the models correctly (aka checkered board), still looking for a solution.

Compile a new version and check for errors, if it's clear, build cubemaps and don't remove them from the bsp.

That includes VIDE, correct?
I tryed both, indeed.
Also, leaving the cubemaps as they are will just not build at all since they are already injected into the bsp.
Either way, if I were to build them while leaving the cubemaps as they are already, all the props would be shiny and ugly and no reflections will actually happen.
I would have loved that the cubemaps wouldn't be broken in the first place though, because this is a real pain to do it that way and I've never experienced this issue before, however, when I pack my custom content into pakrat, the content will load in-game, but the cubemaps that I have built previously print errors in the console and crashes the game after 5 seconds.
I'm still trying different fixes.
What content packing program are you using?
I used PakRat, other packers excluding VIDE are broken.
I changed my vbsp.exe compile tool, should fix it hopefully.
looks nice.
It looks pretty cool, work on the textures though.
