Freshly uploaded. It looks ugly, but I made it a few years ago so...
It seems a bit silly to make stones radioactive when the players HAVE to go past them in the lift loads. Plus, just because something glows green doesnt automatically make it radioactive/poisonous, it's just more likely to be.
The lower levels of the cave system are mostly natural caves. The only places that electrical lighting is used is around the underground structures or where the caves collapsed and had to be reinforced. The only type of light i would add more of are the glowing rocks, which are a possibility.
I may remove the outside lever for the tower, but doing that makes the ladder on the side mostly pointless.
The lift interior is very useful because it means you can move down the levels without needing the lift. E.g. when there's no power or you don't want to let people know you're there. Later I may also add a ladder so you can climb back up the shaft.

I mean the huge caves before the lift, and after the iris-like door! they are useless (yet).
A question: how can the stones glow? because only radioactive material can glow, because light is a type of radiation!
The stones are affected by a world light, because they're physical props.
i mean in reality there must be some kind of radiation... and found a bug wiht the stones:
they can be "plugged out" from the wall, but the light stays there...
Light is indeed a type of radiation, but most "waves" are. Microwaves, light waves, x-rays, radio waves. Just to name a few of somewhere around 12 radioactive "waves" A.K.A. wavelengths.

rookie, I know, learning nuclear physics on my own, so please dont be my teacher... it was just an example, so if there is light then there must be some kind of radiation (heat, nuclear radiation and so many are there...)
Do you really want it so if someone wants to take the elevator down he has to get hurt by radiation. I guess you could make it where its just enough to make your Geiger crackle a bit.
I thought that the Geiger teller was done via mapping.

Back, silly ban, but yeah I think the radioation thing is a little silly, for one it uses up ent memory (even a small bit) and for two they are glowing rocks! Ok light is a radioation does that mean that its gonna be that powerful. Background radioation is always there and really Geiger counters should be clicking all the time.

Shadow has run into that problem where the map crashes you on entry. He knows what the problem could be and how to fix it but atm he really isn't feeling up to it and he's focusing on something slightly different at the moment. Don't expect anything good this soon guys, V1 took 2 years to make, for all you know this could take longer. He will work on it on and off, it's the way he works and you can't really rush him.
While I'd love to help him, I know that I can't because of my evil mapping skills and two people working on one map is not going to work.
Totally correct dude, it's just the way he works I'm afraid. But he does get it done in the end and I'm sure we are all looking forward to what PF V2 will become :D

About 9 times out of 10 as soon as you get two or three people on the server people start flocking in, all it needs is those first one or two to join! If either Shadow or myself are online at the time, fire us a steam message and we can orginise something all cool and fun, maybe a cerby night or run around JE or a quick run though of Puzzlar? Anything, all you need to do is ask and we can change the server to suit.
We did manage to fix the gamemodes too, so if you are bored of PF being stuck on the very very very basic PF gamemode please ask and we can fire it onto sandbox if we can be bothered ;)

and a little bug: if the map is the cerberus, then add a little switch what restarts the map if it was running or more than a hour AND nobody is on the server... because when I once was on the server with inf_cerberus, someone fropped the door hacker out of the cantine's broken window...
and on cerberus in SandBox SP, i cannot put the cores into their place....

well this map would be released untill late this year or early next your but you can still play the betas if you join the server and with all the work thats still needed on the map and the outher maps shadowsand is doing. retexturing the ship will likely not happen
Ray, stop talking about what I plan to do as if you actually know. I've been planning to retexture the ship since I made it, but I want to finish the exterior hull first.
Oh, and Fonix, I can't really add that to the map, but if me or Kaffo are online, just ask us to come and change the map to whatever you want.
