Use the fastdl link, near the bottom of page 7 I think, and if you read page 12 that really has the bulk of the crap that's been happening

It may LOOK like there's a lot of empty space, but that's just because most of the good/interesting/important stuff is either in the air on Planetfall, inside the ground base or underground in the tunnels. The open areas are mostly to give perspective and make things feel right, but also to allow players more freedom for things like building, having wars between bases etc.
PF v Rebel base wars, Rebel base v Cave Base wars, Caves v PF.... Or 1v1v1.
Wow, I haven't been in this forum for about 6 months I think. Boy was I suprised to find out that plantefall is still alive.
From what I've seen, your mapping skills have seen some serious improvements, I remember the first planetfall I played, blocky, but fun. Now it seems you've got rid of the blockiness all together.
I'm gonna try this out and see if it works in gmod 9.

Last update for Puzzler was about a month ago I think. Well, part 1 is pretty much finished and I will very likely release it as it is once I can be bothered. Part 2 is going fairly well (or was when I last worked on it) and the latest beta is on the fast DL page.

Okay, I've downloaded and tried out b5l...
Here's my opinion:
-The new stuff looks awesome (like the main control bridge and the holo room, oh and medbay too!)
-The holo room stuff is not working
-NO LIGHTING COMPILED!!!! that ruined the game!
-In the tower next to the big base, the shield of the elevator is still antinoclipped what is stupid I think (if they are playing in RP then there is no noclip, if they are playing sandbox then the guy can go through the glass walking paths too...)
-The escape pods aren't working, put the combine pod a bit closer to the door
-And I see errors where I should see trees... but I have CSS installed and mounted to Gmod... whats the problem?
-And please, use models! I can help you making some chair and table models for the cantine, maybe some door models too...
In a nice order,
-Yes it does
-No it doesn't, it's one button to turn it on and off and he forgot the output, silly Shadow
-He CAN'T compile the lights, he mentioned before
-Quite a few doors and entities are still anti-noclipped, I moan about this every time and he forgots/can't be assed
-They do, crouch and press e on the base, they have never been changed and have always worked
- You need to join the server while the PF gamemode is on, this will download the models/textures that Shadow stole from somewhere, dammed annoying things to be honest
- He WOULD use models if anyone actually MADE them, we have one guy who modeled like one thing for us about a year ago and no-one else, so if you want to volunteer to make crap into models, DO IT WE WANT THEM!
Methinks my rant is over :P

I don't know why, but it just never worked (yes, I have added the .fgd file), and those trees are the best custom ones I could find. Like Kaffo said though, anyone who makes models for us will be greatly appreciated. Pretty much anything you see around the ship which you think could/should be a model, I would probably want as a model. In fact, I would probably want it as a nicer looking model. Like the tables and chairs - similar style but with a little more detail would be great. Oh, and if you could make escape pods like the current ones, but just as one big model with animations, that would be epic.

Okay, added to the queue:
-chairs and tables for the mess hall
-maybe a holomodel of the Planetfall
-The medic bay desk should be the one used in HL2Ep1 (the one with the hole at the "penis" part with blood, I will take a screenie)
-On the medic bay, the shield, I will make it look a lot better (custom materials and effects)
-Door models with animations
-Switch models with animations/animated materials
Kaffo, or Shadowsand, can you compile SMD to MDL? this is the only one thing I can't get running under windows 7 (nor under the Virtual Windows XP under win7) :(
Hey shadow, the main shield looks great and all, but is it possible that you could make it seamless? Or closer to being seamless? It looks kinda bad for an advanced ship to have seams where the shield segment parts meet. I under stand it for the rebel base, but the main shield for the ship itself is kind of..... awkward for such an advanced ship. You know?
Well, I can make a model for the shield too, if shadow gives me the EXACT size of it in meters...

If you can do all that, then you will be loved by everyone for ever and ever and ever 0.o
The current problems with the shield are due to the fact that the source engine hates spheres, and technically the shield is a hollow sphere, which it hates even more. But yeah, I can certainly get you the size of the shield in hammer units. I'm not sure if/how they convert to metres. And I have no idea about the SMD to MDL thing. If you know HOW to do it and can talk me through it/give me a program or whatever, then I have XP so I assume it would work on my PC.
Oh, and of course, all that other stuff would be epic :D
