I don't even know how to change hammer units to meters, so I will have to google it...

Will do that tomorrow (I'm on the laptop at the moment so I have no hammer).
As well as the models which you are doing, our old modeller Dlaor (he made a keycard model/animation for us ages ago) has come back to life, and has offered to make a couple of the more complex things for us. He's starting with the drop pods (so we can have the current style ones, but looking infinitely better, as well as the bunkers). We're not sure what else he will be doing though, but the pods will be epic (he's doing clamps to hold them, animations etc.). And just to let you know, replacing the pods alone will take out about 500+ brushes at a guess.

Once again my forgetfulness astounds me. Meaning I forgot to get the sizes >< Still, I spent most of the day mapping Puzzler Part 2. Hub 3 is probably finished, Hub 4 is almost finished, but needs a little difficulty tweaking, the tutorial is now included and there are more.... secret things ;)

It has 20% transparency, steelblue color, and animations, like a real activation/deactivation (the first is slower of course...)

Nope, I've tried that... I've made a 200x200x200 unit sphere in 3ds max and it was about 304 units iin hammer...
Weird, because Gmod units are equal to Max units.

Why would Hammer units != Max units, and then GMod units = Max units, when Hammer Units = GMod units?

If your really so worried, export a box from your map in .DXF and use that for scale in 3ds Max after importing.
Well I don't have a clue what any of you are on about, but if anyone still needs specific units for anything, let me know EXACTLY what you need and I will get it for you in hammer units.
The server is finally back up after being down for the last few days, and Kraven has set up a new control panel. The old one had been broken by a PHP update and hasn't worked for a month or 2. In other words, me and Kaffo can once again reset the server whenever we want, without having to wait for Kraven to come online. At the moment, Kaffo is still on holiday, but when he comes back in about a week, I intend to have a PF event. It will be a weekend, probably a saturday so hopefully plenty of people can come.

Okay, first up the shield (you MAY want to make it a tiny bit bigger since the current one only has 8 sides per axis, so your one may fit better).

You can change the chair sizes slightly if you want. I mean, a player is 32x32x72, so they aren't really a sensible size.

Ok, I talked with Kaffo about the event, and he talked with Headbutt. Kaffo won't be back for 8 days, so I will set the events for that saturday (the 15th). Also, rather than being a normal PF Run, we're planning to do two main events, followed by a short PF Run just so we can mess around on other maps.
First will be a PF Assault scenario. We're still working out the details, and a lot of it depends on how many people actually turn up (two teams of two would kinda suck). However, the main objective for the attackers will likely be to eject the core. Other possibilities are being worked on, but as I said, the more people turn up, the more likely we are to do something more awesome.
Second will be pretty much a zombie invasion. I have to admit I'm a little against this idea because I think it will be too easy, but Headbutt says it will be fun so we may as well try it. Various people (probably Headbutt and Kaffo) will spawn zombies throughout the ship, and the players will be an assault team trying to kill all of the zombies and/or escape from the ship.
If at any point we get bored of PFv2, there will be a much newer beta of Puzzler part 2 available for testing, as well as the old favourites - Cerberus and PFv1, which we can also do scenarios on and Puzzler part 1 for those who haven't played it from start to end before.

Okay, seriously, what part of 'Work in progress' do people not understand? I mean, yeah sure, giving ideas is very useful. But 'more occupied space' does usually come with finished versions of maps. Plus the fact that it says in the OP that I am working on a 3D skybox, but didn't want to do it until last so that the terrain doesn't change...
Also, we tried Sunday once before and it failed cause everyone had to get up in the morning for work, so they left early. Eh, I will see how things go.
This map looks good, can't wait to see it when it's done.

Okay, that's a good point. Like I said, I will se how it goes, but since im busy the weekend after, and I still dont really want to do it in the week, it will almost certainly be that sunday.
