I believe you can make up for that shortcoming by putting a regular light entity right next to the light_spot to make up for that fact that light_spots generally don't illuminate ceilings.
I'll keep it as it is. :p Also, reworked the topic and rewritten the backstory. Sometime in the future, I'll merge it all into one poster. However, I don't have enough screenshots for it at the moment. :/
Pretty much finished the airport's checkpoint. Now, I still have to update the warehouses and laboratories, and add sewers, detention block, foundry (I might cut that, though, as there's a deadly rotary fan for body disposal), Traitor Tester and a Disco room. (Oh snap I really have to fix the ugly lighting in the screeshot!)
The map is getting close to it's open alpha stage! I'm considering releasing the alpha version within two weeks. :)
This looks great! However, if one would play this on sandbox with friends and such, can you do so that events and such are still there? If possible it is.
Everything except for some TTT features works in the Sandbox correctly! :D However, some features requiring you to be a Traitor/Innocent will need usage of console commands. I'll include these on the map's Workshop page. This mostly applies to the player-controllable Laser Cannon, which will require ent_fire in order to be activated.
Ah, I see, well its fine!
Here's a WIP screenshot of the Traitor tester. You need to gather 3 randomly spawned batteries (There are around 25 spawn nodes atm) in order to activate it. The scan speed is very fast (2 seconds!) and lasts until round end.
Looks nice, has this map ever been tested online?
Yes, it's being tested every time I finish a bigger part of the map / something that could be potentially buggy or needs feedback.
Map is almost ready to reach the late alpha stage! I'll release an open pre-alpha version on 26.7.2013, and it'll be available for testing on the TwoScore TTT server. IP will be told on the day of release. Hopefully, I'll gather enough feedback during the open pre-alpha, and will upload the fixed Alpha into the Garry's Mod Workshop on 1.8.2013. -- Here's a screenshot of an inn. Martians need some beer. As always, it's unfinished. Oh and it features a playable piano! (Paintings have stupid cubemaps because the command is broken. ._. GJ Valve!) Nice work , how about adding a bar area, club area for the entertainment section of the colony?
A bar has been already implemented. The first map version comes with a Traitor tester, laboratories, Air Processing Unit Control, Airstrip, T Room, small warehouses, offices and laboratories. I'll be adding more in the future. Also, map is almost complete and bug-free. Multiplayer breaks a lot of things!
Looks really good, keep it up!
RIP Lamar
Any idea for how long has been Lamar banned for? -- Map is going to be released either today or tomorrow. Everything is pretty much done, and I'm tweaking some little details and waiting for GMod workshop's thumbnail. :p

I'm trying to upload the map to Garry's Mod Workshop, but I keep getting Error 2 or 16 (Connection lost / Timeout). It's 136 MB (53MB Compressed). Also, I'm getting quite pissed about it already. This is like the 60th time I'm uploading it.
have you tried to upload it to another location for the time being?
have you tried to upload it to another location for the time being?
I did, but I want it to be on the Workshop. :p If it won't get uploaded today, I'll post a Dropbox link in a new release thread for it.

You might be hitting a file size limit. I haven't uploaded anything to Garrys mod's workshop yet but I know for L4D2 there was a file size limit and if you hit you had to break your content up into multiple uploads for it to work.
200mb file size limit
I'm not hitting the size limit for sure, as there are many maps with compressed size above 250 MB.
This map will definitely be on my server when it's done
It is pretty much done. :p I'm just (still) trying to upload it to GMod Workshop, as I can easily update it in here and track the statistics.
What error are you getting when trying to upload? Also, are you using the workshopper or publish tool?
Depends on what stage of the upload it's at. I've made the .gma using GMad, and I'm using GMPublish for publishing. The .gma is made correctly, as I uploaded a test addon without any problems. (1 MB) When I run my .bat file for the publishing, it either stops and gives me error 16 after compression, or lasts 14-25 minutes and stops with error 2. For some reason, about 10 minutes ago, it started spamming percent progress after compression. Also, I've made a table with error type and length of the upload. Yesterday, I've made it to about 4 15+ minute Error 2 uploads, and 150+ Error 16 ones. Today's it's gotten much better, and it has a slightly higher chance of lasting longer than 5 mins. Another very strange this is that the percent persist through uploads. So if it ends at 9%, it continues with 9% progress until another error. I blame witches. Edit: wut. ._. Try using the workshopper tool. I had the same issue, but it was caused by busy servers. Not sure what's causing yours ._.
Well, from what I see on the GMPublish's forum topic, many people are complaining about it not working, so I really hope it's just the servers. [editline]27th July 2013[/editline] Didn't work. It either uploads it for several minutes, opens the Workshop link but there's nothing new, or just goes back to the "Your Addons" menu.
