Just curious, but what do you mean by you "died"? And did your mom only call for EMTs on the third time? The way you worded it, you made it sound like you just stopped breathing for a awhile, and suddenly began breathing again?
You hit the nail on the head. The first time, I stopped breathing completely and my body started to turn purple and cold, it was a terrible event for my mother and my father quickly revived me with CPR. The second time, my father was at work gone and my mother was walking down an alley with my brother when he said, "Mom, why is he purple?" (he was around 7 at the time.) She freaked and apparently, I quickly began to recover myself with large gasps of air and I was fine. The third and final time, all my brothers were home and I turned purple and stopped breathing again. She didn't know what to do, and she called 911 as quick as she could. I don't remember what happened after, but I have a small miniscule memory of being on a hospital bed and me thrashing about as I woke up, considering I have tons of possibly fake memories between my 1-8 years, I'm not sure if it was a fake memory I created in my head as a child, or if it was real.. Now that I remember, I think it was real... I remember leaving the hospital in my parent's small compact car, while I held onto a purple cat-bear stuffed animal the hospital gave me, while slightly scared and traumatized by the hospital awakening, and I do still have the stuffed animal but it's somewhere in the attic.. pretty cute..
It's rare for CPR alone to actually resuscitate someone, you usually have to get an AED, or wait until EMTS to arrive and have them go through the rig-amoral of doing compressions, administering resuscitation drugs, placing ET tubes and possibly giving you a shock. So if that actually happened, CPR brought you back without the involvement of an AED/Defibrillator with the possible assortment of drugs, you are one lucky son of a bitch, because CPR rarely alone never fixes the problem from my knowledge. The second time sounds like apnea, which isn't "dieing". The third time doesn't mean much. Just because you had to go to the hospital in an ambulance, and can't remember it doesn't mean you were "dieing". Maybe very sick, but saying that you "died" is very very poor word usage.
I'm sick.
I can pogostick without using my hands for long durations of time.
Fun fact: Two years ago I accused my arts teacher of being a pedophile and that he was hitting on one of my female classmates (she actually felt that he came onto her), and since I were the only one brave enough in my class I took it up with the principal. This eventually started an investigation and a year later that teacher was fired. Now the funny part is that he gave me an A in that class and my drawing skill never really evolved beyond stick figures.
Hurray! You managed to get someone fired, and potentially ruin their career and reputation, with no such thing as a clue or an evidence! You have to be really really proud of yourself.
Hurray! You managed to get someone fired, and potentially ruin their career and reputation, with no such thing as a clue or an evidence! You have to be really really proud of yourself.
I may have explained this badly (wrote it when I was really tired). My friend wasn't the only girl who felt that he were coming onto her, he was a terrible teacher saying pretty much everything we did sucked and nobody at school liked him. The thing about him being overly friendly with some girls gave him a slap on the wrist by the school board and we had one of the principals with us in class for a few months after it to make sure he didn't retaliate or anything (it wouldn't surprise me). The investigation that eventually got him fired wasn't about him being creepy concerning the girls, but when I were fed up with the way he acted and involved everyone and everything, others started feeling brave enough to follow my lead and I guess there eventually were too many complaints and shit for the school board to overlook as butthurt students who wanted revenge over getting bad grades, so they had to do something. This teacher were just old and bitter, not helpful during class in any way and made racist remarks about some of my foreign classmates (for example, he once said "In my class we are Swedish, and we talk Swedish" when they were just happily chatting while calmly doing the assignment), he threw people out of the classroom for no apparent reason at all and when we first raised complaints against him, he found out about it and spent half the following lesson yelling at us. So yes I'm quite proud. I hope this cleared up any misunderstandings about what I first wrote and if you still think I'm a terrible person I guess we really can't do anything about it. :v:
I feel attracted to transexuals
hey babe
I have a tendency to be that guy everyone knows, not close, but knows. I also actually am the guy everyone is comfortable to be themselves around. I like it though, gives me this special feeling.

You got him fired because you didn't like him. Have you realized that the point of a teacher was not to be liked? For someone who claims to be incredibly intelligent, I find you to be rather...Dumb. Put yourself in his position. His students are complete pricks who feel entitled to get anyone they want fired. He let the school investigate on him like he's a fucking terrorist. People talk in different language in his class, that he cannot understand. And then there's this little fucker who dares to tell everyone to complain about him. He tries to cope with it, giving him good rates and shit, and what does the little fucker do? He gets him fired. You are a terrible, terrible person, and you only contributed further to the bitterness of this old man, who now knows no one can be trusted.

You do realize that if the students hate their teacher, they're not going to study well either and/or start hating the subject because of it? If GameQude's description is accurate then he got what he deserved.

You are a terrible, terrible person, and you only contributed further to the bitterness of this old man, who now knows no one can be trusted.
Okay. Let's get this straight. I didn't get him fired. He got himself fired. The way he acted, the way he held classes, the comments he made during them, the overall feeling of hate he spewed over everyone who came in close proximity to him. That's what got him fired. I just opened the school boards eyes by coming to them. And "Have you realized that the point of a teacher was not to be liked"? What are you on about? Isn't the point of a teacher to teach? To educate? Sure, you don't have to like teachers and you sure as hell don't have to be liked by your students, but there's a big difference in not being liked by students and being a terrible teacher overall. And nowhere in my post did I claim to be "incredibly intelligent", or even intelligent at all. We (the students) weren't pricks. Sure, a lot of students in the school can be annoying as hell, but that does not justify the fact that he were a complete arse to us from lesson one. Completely unprovoked. The school had to take action and investigate him, or they could get sued by students. Here you somehow got the idea that the whole investigation were some kind of a witch hunt, which it was not. I only knew about it because the school board informed me about it (so I knew something actually happened). Based on the principal we had with us on some classes combined with the fact that he eventually got fired only proves my point that he were a shitty teacher and my accusations weren't untrue, nor uncalled for. I never told people to start complaining about him, the word just got around that someone actually had, and then other people, for whatever reasons, started complaining as well because they didn't dare to make the first move but when somebody apparently had, they dared. And sure I guess it's a little odd that I were the one that started it all when he weren't even particularly mean to me, but he were to my friends and the class in general. I stood up to this horrible teacher and pretty much everyone (other students, other teachers, the school board) actually sided with me on the matter, and the teacher was fired for his behavior. So I really don't understand how this makes me a terrible person in your eyes. I guess it's partly because I really can't properly describe how awful he were. You kinda had to be there. And you wouldn't want to. [editline]5th May 2012[/editline]
If GameQude's description is accurate then he got what he deserved.
Its possible that I could be a bit biased since I hated his guts, but when I presented the matter to the school board I take pride in the fact that I did the entire thing completely based on facts and not my personal feelings for the teacher.

If anything I use it as leverage if they ever try to make me sound bad. Not that I need to.

If GameQude's description is accurate then he got what he deserved.
The point of a teacher is not to be liked, period. You have friends for this. A teacher has the right to treat his students as friends, but it is certainly not a requirement. At no point a teacher is ever supposed to act friendly to his students, and it's really the students that should quit bitching, you don't know what it's like to be a teacher. He didn't deserve anything of what happenned and Gamequd had no right of getting him fired. [editline]5th May 2012[/editline]
long post
I know how stuff works. You didn't like him, so you all got together to get him fired, indirectly. You're making a hero of yourself "I stood up to this horrible teacher", but in fact he hadn't done anything he wasn't entitled to, and you tried to accuse pedophilia on top of that to justify your dickish behaviour. I've had dickish teachers in the past who I hated, but creating a bandwagon to get him fired? That's an incrediblt dickish thing to do. Teachers CAN get fired at popular demand. That's what hapenned here. Anyone who takes part in this process is an incredible asshole. Once again, you ruined some dude's career because you didn't like him. You're a terrible person.
