My local target has a lot of cashier positions open, woo!
Nice! I applied there for a few positions I believe, didn't get a call back on one. Gotta apply at the perfect time.

Update on my CYOA game: I've implemented an inventory by setting the items as variables. You find an item, that variable is applied to you for as long as you have it. It doesn't affect gameplay though. I've also added several personality traits that will affect how you learn skills. For instance, if your personality indicates that you are friendly and helpful, you might have a harder time increasing your Desperate (criminal) trait, but if you work at it increasing your Desperation will decrease how friendly you are. And the new feature I'm most proud of: random encounters! This is a feature I haven't seen in many CYOA games. I've written 50 encounters that can happen to you as you travel between towns. These range from meeting a beggar that asks for gold to helping a village fend off a goblin raid. What experience you have will be determined by a dice roll.
It's Joe Walsh. Joe Walsh rules.
neat! Prometheus is going to be rated R.

Each one holds different challenges and different rewards, and I'm trying to make it stand out from other CYOA games by making it as much like an RPG as I can, by adding features like what I've previously said. I'm not saying much about story as of now because one of it is really set in stone other than the Three Legends.

I'm not really into the whole traditional midevil RPG setting, more into sci-fi, but it sounds interesting nonetheless.
My hair is getting short time to make it long again
Best greasemonkey script I've ever found: http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/132534
So apparently they were originally going to have all animatronic monsters in the 2011 prequel to The Thing and they made a bunch and you can see them on youtube but then the studio made them switch to CGI. They took the horror movie with the best monsters ever put on film because they were done conventionally, decided to do them conventionally again, and then Hollywood decided the world is not allowed to have nice things. fffffffffff [editline]7th May 2012[/editline] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JchXCnuQFrs#t=25s They turned godlike horror into mediocre bullshit
Applying for SSI is a pain in the ass.
Applying for SSI is a pain in the ass.
I've heard they turn down absolutely everyone the first time. Seems like it'd actually be a huge waste of time to do that honestly. Nothing like everyone having to go through the paperwork bullshit twice for no reason...

Why'd they decide to waste money on CGI for the 2011 prequel anyway?

I absolutely love the soundtrack to Brazil. Brazil! Where hearts are entertaining June, We stood beneath an amber moon, And softly murmured "Someday soon. . ."
Sam humming it at the end is so great [editline]7th May 2012[/editline] Also so depressing
What the fuck why did I get a headache. This hurts. This might be a bit off topic but does anybody know how to stop Facepunch from reloading rapidly every time I go to a thread? I am running chrome.
To diiie by your side - Well, the pleasure - the privilege is mine.
