  • Portal 2 was *just* released, and I'm already poking at it, pretty much like my attempt at porting at ASW models to the Source2007/9 engine, Except this is even more screwed up and I'm failing at this one. To my first test I've tried to import chell, mostly everything worked except: [img]http://www.noelshack.com/uploads/images/11133270981558_chell.jpg[/img] Slowly getting there, UV Maps are messed up and there are vertex problems, Valve is over the usual polygon limit in some models so these can't be imported at all until someones decides to make a new SMD importer or I parse most polygons above limit, one example of that is the Atlas character, I should have a full playermodel set with everything fine by the end of the week if everything goes as I predict. Edit: Oh and the classic red Error.mdl has been changed to a blue hue

It's just shaders which tend to cause trouble.

I added the teeth from zoey too, and added the textures from the teeth to the head diffuse texture. She just needs rigging and facial flexes.

Wouldn't be surprising if they kept some of the original bits like hair on Zoey.

  • They're exactly the same as they are in portal 2, i left the .vmts as they were. There's no unsupported shaders on them, so it's probably just the map.
  • Can you please port the hydraulic doors and elevator? They would be more than incredibly useful
