  • xplor3r : cheap tactic. Ripping and porting the model directly with hand rigs that are however not rigged at all ... these things have no animations. So useless.

  • Well some weapons have my animations ... but reading this nonsense i'll just release one more request , meaning the MSR for awp ... and that's just about it , also black assassin as i recall requested it if not i'm sorry perhaps there's somebody else , so pm or something and point me to the animation u desire and u'll have it , also i'll post it here beeing the last one ... so you can ban me or something after that , i wont upload anymore here , reading all this stupidity ( on some i refer ) ... wish you all the best and have a good life !

Also i Added The Dot On the red Dot on the V_Model as u all like and want. Will be probably my last one here.. cause apparently im ruining This Thread.. Not my Words It Has Only 19 pages so.. Also what worked for me on the smoothing was to turn off auto-smoothing in milkshape and then just do any rotating/mirroring in 3ds, milkshape can retain the smoothing while you move and scale it, just not rotating

  • Fixed the sound desync on the P90, I'll release it, the l86 and the mp9 (and possibly something else), once I can get a pistol completed. (I want to have at least one secondary and right now I just don't have the will to make one) Also Whiskas just shut up already. Unless you're offering to do any better then stop flaming. Xplor3r I've got a proposition for you: how about you rip and compile some w_models for my sets and we release 'em collaboratively. Also would you mind getting some more attachments like the underslung GLs? And on another note it just occurred to me some of these may work on the animations from Alliance of Valiant Arms.

  • @ sealteam6 Well for the usas 12 animation i've used internationer's animation , the one used for cm901 for galil ( the second release ) and i've modified the .ctx file so it uses some commands, so in there instead of [U]v_shot_xm1014 [/U] it points to the animation for [U]v_rig_galil[/U] , also i've modified the reload animation , so now for the xm1014 when you reload you have to wait untill u insert all those bullets 7-8 depends how many you add in the script and i've modified it so the mag stays down for 3-4 seconds and then raises ...pretty simple .... having modified scripts just so you know you can have lets say AWP instead of glock slot , not switching places of buying script , so is very easy if you know how to do them ... @ asteroidrules Sure , just send me a pm with what w_models you want and i'll do them ... in this week-end you'll have them , now i'm pretty busy :wink: @ Dysavior The ump looks pretty cool :smile: .. and yes perhaps i'll release those , or perhaps not PS : also whiskas , if you want i can make you some drawings with a short tutorial on how to rigg hands with controllers and cameras in autodesk maya , after you set the bones its pretty easy to move the hands or the sleeves and replace them in the animation u're using them , or use them in the animation u're making ... just let me know and when i'll have some time i'll do them , especially for you

Shotguns in CS:S use completely different ACT_VMs in coding, so your anims for galil wont even show up. What is such a "skin" good for? My advice for swaping slots via scripts is : w models. Worldies have no option but to use default Valve anims assigned to player models. So, for example, you can make w model of CM901 that fits the w model of galil, compile it as w_rif_cm901.mdl and put this into script with corresponding animation extension. Using scripts to swap v_models is completely useless as weapons have different order of animations, their length etc.... We dont even have anims that would fit many of these weapons, so i call fake. Those, who believe these are actual functional skins... well, Im kind of sorry for them.I will not trust you until you post some demonstration of working rigged arms and animations with them. Thats it.

Yes, there are no animations availible for such weapons. Im modding CSS for about 3-4 years, im carefully watching every new release on YT,GB,cdg and other sites and im sure we have no animations for FAD or L86 with drum mag as example..... And yes,you were talking about swapping. You were talking about changing the path of .mdl file via script which leads to visuall change of the weapon slot to another.... And by the way .. how old are you?

[/QUOTE] I already made a video showing how with some playing around with the origins I can make Mullet's old L86 anims work on the MW2 model. As for the FAD, I'd say the best thing to do for it would be to just modify some existing animations, a 20 degree rotation isn't exactly hard to do.
