JUST BEEN CONFIRMED FOR SAN DIEGO COMIC CON 2012
I know that this isn't a proper news source, and that this will possibly result in me having a ban, but I would like to say that this is true, though there is no proper source. Around 2 minutes ago, The Valve Store's Facebook page updated a post with this: Unfortunately before I could submit the comment they took it down, however I still clicked the link to this: http://www.threeaonline.com/forum/index.php?topic=2552.0
WTF?!? more info needed please. a figure? a game? mind = blown [t]http://i.imgur.com/inCaF.jpg[/t]
ThreeAOnline are known for models and toys, so we never know. If anyone else has a screencap of it before they removed it as proof, please post it so it will validate that this is true. UPDATE - 17:00 http://vinyl-destination.tumblr.com/
ThreeA x Valve - Production Toys in the Pipeline? Every week, the Ashley Wood founded toy company, ThreeA, release a newsletter which summarises current affairs and toy production updates. A bit of a predictable affair to some who follow ThreeA religiously, but every now and then Ashley Wood drops an unexpected bombshell, and today’s newsletters was one of those cases… In VOX 7, the weekly newsletter, ThreeA reveal the above teaser image with a massive Valve logo, and the message couldn’t be any clearer. Below the image Ashley made the comment, “Ordinarily, I wouldn’t contemplate them… But these *are* extraordinary times.”. Extraordinary times indeed! Now this isn’t the first time ThreeA is partnering up with video game companies. Ashley has had a fairly long relationship with Konami, the people behind Metal Gear Solid, and have just recently released their highly anticipated 1/48 scale model Rex, and it’s also pretty recent news that they are also involved introducing figures for the Xbox Halo franchise. The Valve partnership is yet another high profile team up, and what they have planned with Gabe Newell’s company is intriguing and exciting all at once! With original franchises and game series under Valve’s belt, like the hugely popular Half Life series, the zombie survival Left 4 Dead games, Portal, and the multiplayer frag fest, Team Fortress, the library of characters and inspiration they can draw from is pretty endless. So I guess we shall have to wait and see what’s in store! Why do YOU guys hope to see coming from this new partnership?
Half-life 3 will be like Skylanders. You need the action figures to play the game.

You guys still play with toys?
Line at the bottom reminds me of something the g-man would say
It's what he says at the end of HL2 Time, Dr. Freeman? Is it really that time again? It seems as if you only just arrived. You've done a great deal in a small time span. You've done so well, in fact, that I've received some interesting offers for your services. Ordinarily, I wouldn't contemplate them... but these *are* extraordinary times. Rather than offer you the illusion of free choice, I will take the liberty of choosing for you... if and when your time comes round again. I do apologize for what must seem to you an arbitrary imposition, Dr. Freeman. I trust it will all make sense to you in the course of... well... I'm really not at liberty to say. In the meantime... this is where I get off.
You guys still play with toys?
It's not a toy, it's an action figure
It's not a toy, it's an action figure
Actually they are COLLECTOR MEMORABILIA
The reason Valve's E3 stand will be massive is probaby due to an announcement, but also their models they're showcasing, like these.
