If you're stabbing with swords, you're doing it wrong.
lol what Stabbing is one of the most lethal moves in the game. Stab with a sharp sword that's attached to a heavy weapon (like a hammer) and all of the energy from it is drilled into your enemy. Swinging a flail, you have the weight of the flail doing the damage and that's it. Alone, a flail is heavier than a sword. However, a sword, heavy hammer, and armored vehicle itself combined are much heavier than any weapon in the game. So you basically end up with an extremely heavy weapon that's also very sharp. When all of that weight gets focused on a tiny sharp tip of a sword, the game shits itself and enemies die in one hit. Stabbing is one of the hardest things to master but it's easily the most powerful technique in the game when done correctly. If you do it while in slow motion enemies will just disintegrate into tiny gears and shit.
There's really no precedent for weapon comparison considering the lack of PvP, so it just comes down to personal preference.
Did you guys see TotalBiscuit playing Hammerfight? HE'S SO DAMN BAD.
Of course he's bad at the game. He's Totalbiscuit.

Just bought a pickaxe that is neither 'axe' nor 'hammer', What's special about it? Also i don't understand this retarded hammerball shit there's a crab and it's running around what team and i on what the hell do i score with
Just bought a pickaxe that is neither 'axe' nor 'hammer', What's special about it?
Has a habit of punching through armor real easy and can get stuck in enemies, which fucks them up.
Just for the record, flails can definitely one hit when in slow mo. I haven't been able to do it with a hammer though, not enough leverage on the smacking end to build the momentum needed.
It's not an axe or a hammer? Is it a stick?
it be a pickaxe
it be a pickaxe
Ah, it was a tough riddle.
I thought about making a .gif but got around to making a video instead, please excuse the choppy framerate: [hd]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NH4x8_mEW1I[/hd]

In Hammerball, what are you supposed to do with "Sharp-Toothed"? I'd assume score, like any other ball, but it moves around on its own. And how do you avoid getting killed by its shockwave attack?
All the times I've encountered it it ran away when I first approached it and ran towards me right after, which is when I smacked it, of course.
Okay after actually playing the mode a bunch I know you're not talking about the little buzzy thing, but in fact the giant monster thing. You kill it before it kills you, then play using the gold orb that comes out.
Huh, this game is a tiny bit hard. Which level comes after GAIAR_sophit? (Chapter I, part IV, when I fight a thing like a worm in darkness)
Huh, this game is a tiny bit hard.
Drop your "mouse sensitivity" in options to 100, that should make it easier.
What exactly is [sp]The Abyss[/sp] supposed to be?

I wish there was some kind of gem rack. I have unwanted gems coming out of my ears but I never get rid of them because I'm worried I'll need them later.
What exactly is [sp]The Abyss[/sp] supposed to be?
Its what it exactly sounds. Its an abyss. But im not sure actually how it came to be, its very confusing. What I have got from the story, is that it once was part of the world, but thanks to the Mainframe called Seraphim, it got sinked into the depths taking the cities and many people with it. Im not sure when this happened. It says 300 year before the last boss fight, but I also think the Gaiar was there, and been the only one surviving it, but that will make him be 300 years old too... The written story is pretty confusing and not really much related to the one you see in the cutscenes. On another note: I would love to try the HIB3 one =( Tribal Wars does sound very awesome.
no the gaiar was the only one who survived the massacre at the start of the game you know, the fight where all your friends are slaughtered and you are enslaved and shipped off to the arena
I know, what confuses me is the part where it says that the abyss collapsed bringing the gaiars with them, and that they explored it and etc. So that would mean that the abyss is also where we begin? And not only the hellish-type of zone that we visit later in the game. Thats what confused me, it says the gaiars after been defeated after the end of the first empire, they had to live in the abyss, in fear of the other 2 houses.
Gaiars are just a faction. And in the story, the Gaiars sank with the Abyss.
Gaiars are just a faction. And in the story, the Gaiars sank with the Abyss.
Yup... so why are we in the surface? Or are we sunk in the Abyss? Remember that we are the last of the faction of the Gaiars, . And I know everything about the story that involves the actual solo mode. Its the text that comes after and before every chapter that is confusing. Basicly its the event before the last of the Gaiars was born, right? Anyway, I have been experiencing A LOT with hammers lately, I even managed to beat Hammerball after few tries(Not that its hard, its boring and stupid) just to get the Relic Hammer. I find it sad that hammers have very few kinds, compared to swords and maces. They are good to, just a bit more difficult to use.
They're up on the surface because it's a better place to be. That's like asking why we are not living on a graveyard. The Abyss is a place with demons and stuff, I think.

My problem is connecting the past of the story, with what we get to experience on the Solo path. Mostly because its a lil bit fussy. So first 3 houses, factions, whatever, then the Gaiars take over the other 2, giving birth to the 1st empire, Then they got beaten, and moved to the abyss( If it was such a bad place they wouldnt have went there in the first place, and instead would have fight for their own place on the surface.. After that is what I dont get, well the 7 years of the second empire of Kadish. But then... what happened? That was when Ghaneesh Ghavaat(?) did a pact with the Seraph and attacked the upper kingdom? Ughhh you know nevermind. I will go back to go all smashy smashy with my hammy
The story is written by Russians. It does not have to make sense.
Alright, Guns are the most OP pieces of shit in arena mode. Especially the ones that shoot 1 bomb a second, and the ones that shoot clouds of explosive piss. Those shouldn't be in arena. In Solo? Sure, but Arena just ruins everything.
