tali concept art showing potential faces under the mask
I like some of the rounder mask designs, they would of been nice.
I apparently psychicly stabbed DX_V in the eye with a fork over the Internet and everybody flipped out over day-one DLC
oh man wtf that's bullshit!! ...I mean come on DX_V didn't deserve that! [SUP][SUP][SUP]heh you see what I did there?[/SUP][/SUP][/SUP]
I find hitmarkers in singleplayer very distracting. Takes away immersion etc. If you want good feedback wouldn't nice sound effects, animations and physics get it across much better? Or even the quiet "snap" sound you can hear in CoD multiplayer when you hit someone, or the similar one in Crysis without the hitmarker?
Hit markers are like crack cocaine. There's a certain Instant gratification to it that makes them addictive to players. it might seem like it changes your immersion on the surface, to you, but the subconcious function is that it makes combat more tactile, which makes you feel more responsible for it, and your own actions which in turn ADDS to the player's immersion. Either way its' a thing you'd just get used to and stop caring about after 5-10 minutes of gameplay anyway.
seriously though I expected Day 1 DLC with the way Bioware have been lately

See: Battlefield 3. Just wish UI related stuff like that was optional in every game so you could disable any part of the HUD you don't like. But what developer would bother?
oh no hitmarkers in SP cancelling pre-order
I'll stream more ME1 if you guys want me to. Hey, i might ask Darth if i can schedule it as an event in the steam group if you guys would be interested.
oh no hitmarkers in SP cancelling pre-order
I like you
So, I' confused. Those rumours about Locust DLC for 360 and Helghast for PS3...That bullshit, or can I get a source? cause TBH if we're doing crossover I'd WAAAY rather roll in this
oh no hitmarkers in SP cancelling pre-order
You are the worst and the best poster in the thread.
You are the worst and the best poster in the thread.
He's the saddasta of the Mass Effect thread. Our Sobotnik. Our Zeke. Our Chickens.
I think you're confused, it's not Helghast or Locust armor, you straight up fight them as an enemy in the co-op on those respective consoles.
...That's silly Well... we can still include Necromorphs, right? I really like Dead Space.
I like some of the rounder mask designs, they would of been nice.
I like how one looks like a salarian staring into my soul and a helmet design is 343 Gulity Spark
They already did that with DAII.
Yeah, I gave the code to someone else though. T'was it a Mass Effect code I'd have held onto it. I'd WAAAAAAAAAY rather fight the Covenant than Locusts. Call me a minority, but I prefer Halo to Gears, really. okay while searching for an image I found this and I wish I hadn't http://rule34-data-001.paheal.net/_images/e68aebe0ac3a35303f82e7b1d0b90cf3/616849%20-%20Halo%20Methados%20sangheili.png [editline]25th February 2012[/editline]
http://www.rule34.paheal.net/post/view/503561 http://www.rule34.paheal.net/post/view/504770
FUCK YOU CURIOSITY FUCK YOU
Yeah to be fair Halo with the 360 would of fitted more better. Oh well why stop there lets have freaking xenomorphs jump in

Helghast can use all of the Cerberus animations. Locusts can use a lot of the husk animations. Elites have fairly unique body structures which would require porting animations across which would use a lot more of that precious memory the consoles don't have much of.
oh no hitmarkers in SP cancelling pre-order
Never said that. I'm not buying the game on release anyway, but it's just a thing that annoys me.
I also can't find any evidence on this crossova' shit
Yeah to be fair Halo with the 360 would of fitted more better. Oh well why stop there lets have freaking xenomorphs jump in
Before long ME3 becomes "SUPER SPACE MARINE BROS. BRAWL!"

They'd look like silly husks
I also can't find any evidence on this crossova' shit
Neither can I, I heard it purely as rumor so I cannot confirm anything.
You are the worst and the best poster in the thread.
like i give a fcuk
Aren't Locusts really burly guys with guns? They'd look like silly husks
Actually, I think they'd just be Cerberus reskins with a few husk animations. Also, bear in mind that the husks in me3 aren't all just like the me1 and me2 husks, they can actually use weapons and do firefights and shit, they aren't just zombies.
Before long ME3 becomes "SUPER SPACE MARINE BROS. BRAWL!"
oh guys chillax I swear to god anytime anything gets revealed in this thread you're all so dramatic about it "CANCELLING PRE-ORDER" "FUCK BIOWARE" "GOD THIS GAME IS RUINED FOREVER" It's not even out yet and you're all treating it like it's gonna be the Anti-Christ or something. We're all hear because we loved the shit out of the last 2 games, let's at least give this one a try?

Too bad Turians use human animations.
I'm just waiting to see what us PC users get. XCOM Aliens? Combine? Japanese Samurai? Filthy Sandrakers? Lot of possibilities.
