What's wrong with our group?
you just do ih instead of pubs, and you all leave after one match. :(
you just do ih instead of pubs, and you all leave after one match. :(
we do pubs all the time, but we do ih for learning. if you want to mm you have to prove to us you are a better than decent player, because none of us want a loss.
we do pubs all the time, but we do ih for learning. if you want to mm you have to prove to us you are a better than decent player, because none of us want a loss.
well everyone on ih's always will pick me last because I'm probably the worst
well everyone on ih's always will pick me last because I'm probably the worst
Then play with bots more. Bot games help a lot.
you're tetra right? the guy who always plays lina?
i never play lina anymore actually
So I played with the best Clinkz ever. He literally said he was better than me because he had less deaths, except I had 4 more levels than him, and he was mid. :downs: [editline]5th April 2012[/editline]
i never play lina anymore actually
No, you play Support Killstealer Gondar.
good clinkz players are scary
i never play lina anymore actually
Are you the same person who said they have difficulty getting 40 last hits on a solo lane in 10 minutes? I just think it's really stupid you talk about people being good in order to MM when in reality you aren't that good yourself. Real talk, no hate.
So I have this RL friend that I invited to the beta. He introduced me to LoL, so I thought it was necessary to return the favor by inviting him to the Dota 2 beta. After like a month of playing, he gets tired of Dota 2 and goes back to LoL. He recently got 2 extra beta keys, and he'd rather trade them for Steam games than give them to me so that I can invite other friends to play. This is currently destroying our friendship.

I've gotten a lot better, actually. in fact i have less losses than you
you can farm well but you still don't understand how to play void
you can't even play naix, but you still play him; you literally lost out on about 5 kills yesterday. "gotta jungle, who gives a shit that my lane has an easy gank" and all I can't do is ult, and I read up on that yesterday. and since yesterday you haven't seen me play [editline]4th April 2012[/editline]
lol who legitimately gives a fuck about w/l, you can have 100 wins and 0 losses and you might still suck dick at the game
possible, but extremely improbable.
cs is literally the easiest thing about dota. you need map awareness, general knowledge on how to play your hero efficiently, positioning, on-the-spot decision making, etc.
you can't even play naix, but you still play him
at least I acknowledge I suck with him

W/L is rather meaningless, but even without saying that mine is above 1.0. How can you be so sure you know how many losses I have? I wasn't aware losses were shown, only wins are. [editline]March 6th 2004[/editline]
you can't even play naix, but you still play him; you literally lost out on about 5 kills yesterday. "gotta jungle, who gives a shit that my lane has an easy gank"
Oh look, he points out a flaw of yours and all you do is aggressively point out his. Very mature.
No I dont; Also, I compared me playing void with his playing of naix. Read between the lines
Yeah but I've played naix only 3 times before, while you've played void hundreds.
sure is hostile in here.
cs is literally the easiest thing about dota. you need map awareness, general knowledge on how to play your hero efficiently, positioning, on-the-spot decision making, etc.
cs is the one thing I have the most trouble with
I guess bots is a good way to practice getting cs
sure is hostile in here.
sure is standard dota 2 banter in here
I guess bots is a good way to practice getting cs
Unfair bots, never miss. Seriously, if you have the patience to train against them then you're pretty much guaranteed to dominate against pub players. They. Time. Every. Shot. Perfectly.
I don't find it that hard to outlast hit them?? Just relax or something.
Yeah but I've played naix only 3 times before, while you've played void hundreds.
10 times
10 times
More than half of the guys on this thread (including me).
Are you guys kidding me.
you just do ih instead of pubs, and you all leave after one match. :(
No, we alternate depending on who's available. It's hard to find enough people online for both, to be honest, because DOTA is so time-consuming and most folks only have time for 1 - 3 (nonconsecutive) games per day. Save for 100% new players, we don't include or ignore players based on skill. We include or ignore based on availability.
we do pubs all the time, but we do ih for learning. if you want to mm you have to prove to us you are a better than decent player, because none of us want a loss.
Our inhouses are only sort of about learning. The group was originally intended as practice, but now it's more of a get together kinda group.
well everyone on ih's always will pick me last because I'm probably the worst
Practice. It isn't like sports where you need to put in an insane amount of effort and you only get a few minutes in the spotlight to show your stuff. If you keep playing DOTA, listening to advice, and following guides, you'll get better.
you're tetra right? the guy who always plays lina?

No, you play Support Killstealer Gondar.
No tetra plays a lot of different heroes these days. I don't see him play Gondar or Lina that much anymore. [editline]5th April 2012[/editline] Also for the record I still struggle with cs too; on a good solo lane I'm doing less than 40 lh in 10 minutes. It's a quota and the whole point is that you set the bar high and try to hit it, and over time it becomes much easier to do as you practice.
i dont care if you suck, as long as you listen

Are you guys gay for eachother or something ?
