what
...what?
Practicing alone, practicing solo lane against bots, practicing duo lane against bots. [editline]31st March 2012[/editline] Or reaching 25 by 5 mins, etc.
Can anyone suggest a hero for me based off this? The only hero I seem to be good with is Ursa, and he's useless against competent players.
You haven't played enough. The only way you will learn which hero is your best is when you have played a lot of every hero and know them back to front.
Just reached 1000 hours in Dota 2. Damn, this game is fun.

Problem is I have no idea what items I'm supposed to buy for them. I've tried places like Dotafire but people tell me its a shitty site and I guess the recommended items aren't all that great either.

How about Pubstomp videos?
It's not entertaining to see a guy walk around and kill people, if you do some crazy amazing shit then post it otherwise stop showing us generic gameplay or stomps.
no pubstomps or mediocre post game results.
What is wrong with you? look at the game length, they had both our rax down by 35 minutes jeez get off your high horse
What is wrong with you? look at the game length, they had both our rax down by 35 minutes jeez get off your high horse
sorry i don't want this thread turning into another mess like the lol thread, so if you don't like it then leave.
Just got DOTA2, i'm reading the op and imagining how awful my first steps are going to be.
It would make more sense if the rule was "Don't post any post-game picture". Because that's how it's treated anyways.
read the OP
IT WASN'T A FUCKING PUBSTOMP
IT WASN'T A FUCKING PUBSTOMP
who cares, it's still a post-game screenshot. not useful to the thread.
90 percent of the posts here aren't useful to the thread [editline]1st April 2012[/editline] Do any items have a unique attack damage modifier?
http://www.playdota.com/heroes This is very helpful to see dota 2 pictures instead of the old ones in the guides. http://www.reddit.com/r/DotA2/comments/nsey8/playdota_to_playdota2_conversion_script/
That's exactly what I needed. I was tried using playdota guides but I didn't know which pictures meant what items. That script combined with (http://www.playdota.com/guides/vals-pretty-guide-to-every-hero) should help

They should make that available as a cosmetic item, like a little wizard that stands on you shoulder.
