you should be able to shoot peoples weapons off
you should be able to shoot peoples weapons off
You might be able to. I know if the bullet grazes a weapon on the way to a kill it makes sparks. Also, you can send a bullet through a sniper's scope into his eye is you aim it right. Also you can shoot 'nades off enemies' uniforms. I'll be sure to test this once the Damn demo gets released.
It all makes sense now, they have to remove all the gore and blood for the german demo!
that wouldnt be steams job, that would be the developers job
I am flipping shit at the moment. It seems like us PC players won't be able to play with the demo before release if this continues.
Always better than the usual thing where we won't get a demo to begin with.
Oh sweet I didn't know the full campaign was coop. Unfortunately I don't know anyone interested in picking the game up :(
The demo was really fun but I can't really see myself throwing down 60 dollars for it. Also these nazis have fucking super vision or something.
The demo was really fun but I can't really see myself throwing down 60 dollars for it. Also these nazis have fucking super vision or something.
This game isn't $60. Well, not on PC at least.
It's actually $45 on Steam for glorious PC gamer master race.
Jeez. I wish they'd give us this demo already! I'm going to go have some fun on Sniper Elite for a while.
Oh sweet I didn't know the full campaign was coop. Unfortunately I don't know anyone interested in picking the game up :(
Depends, what country do you live in and what platform are you planning on playing on?
Once I grab a copy on PC, I wouldn't mind doing some coop with some people. None of my friends are buying this so I'm going to be all alone.
I might get it on PC, dunno though. Was planning on just picking up Max Payne 3 but the more I play the demo the more I want to play Sniper Elite V2. US btw.
Once I grab a copy on PC, I wouldn't mind doing some coop with some people. None of my friends are buying this so I'm going to be all alone.
Id be up for it, i doubt anyone i know is getting it
I enjoyed the original Sniper Elite, this looks great too. People seem to be expecting the PC demo any minute? Has there been news or what?
I'm getting it, and feel free to add me on steam.. or something...
Id be up for it, i doubt anyone i know is getting it
Don't know why but I can't stop watching your avatar..
I dunno why you would get this game on console if you had the option of getting it on the PC and your computer wasn't total ass. For one it's cheaper and the controls will be better with a mouse and keyboard in a game where you need precision.
I enjoyed the original Sniper Elite, this looks great too. People seem to be expecting the PC demo any minute? Has there been news or what?
They gave it to Valve just over a day ago and now we're waiting for it to be released.
I enjoyed the original Sniper Elite, this looks great too. People seem to be expecting the PC demo any minute? Has there been news or what?
Rebellion sent it to the Steam team yesterday it was added to the steam registry around 6 GMT yesterday according to http://marlamin.com/cdr/view.php?pagenum=1&type=app (I think those times are GMT) We're waiting for Steam to put it up. [editline]18th April 2012[/editline]
For one it's cheaper
Actually its $49.99 on the consoles as well. Right now its only cheaper on steam because of the pre-release sale. Amazon is also selling the PC version at the same discount as steam. [editline]18th April 2012[/editline]
Why would you ask a program what's up?
Obviously I meant e-mail one of the people on the Steam team.
Actually its $49.99 on the consoles as well.
I did not know this, you're absolutely correct. But regardless, the precision of a mouse and keyboard are more beneficial to a sniper game than a controller so at least that point still stands.

But regardless, the precision of a mouse and keyboard are more beneficial to a sniper game than a controller so at least that point still stands.
Must admit, I bought the first one the other day and have been loving it so far. I've wanted Sniper Elite since it's launch but it was one of those games I never got round to or never had the available cash to buy. Playing it now though, I can't imagine how I'd have ever been able to enjoy it using a controller.
Demo is out.
Oh wait shit you weren't lying! Go to the store page.
My body is ready.

My eyes are not ready for all the Testicle screenshots that will be inevitably posted..
I don't recall ever getting this excited over the release of a demo before. Downloading...
