I finally made it out of the hell that was the Red Forest and the Brain Scorcher. It took hours of trying and failing, but I made it, and it was so worth it. I helped the Dutiers to the camp just before Pripyat but I didn't think I was ready so I'm headed back to the Bar. Edit: Somehow a UKM soldier got into the entrance of the bar and killed the GET OUT OF HERE STALKER guy. I shot the soldier and suddenly the entire population of the bar declares me a murderer and rapes me to death. What the fuck, guys, I'm a [I]hero,[/I] not a murderer!

There's a file in gamedata\config for each of the areas (named secrets, and then the name of the place), but I think that keeps track of which objects in the game world are the contents of stashes for the purpose of the "Stash Found" messages. I think object location is more of an SDK thing.

Those kinds of mods tend to mess around with user.ltx settings, so you'll want to delete it and let it create a fresh one (or restore a backup if you have one)

You're right though, the objects are defined in all.spawn, through the LE.

I can only recruit Strider to go with me to Pripyat if he already joined one of the factions, right? If so, how can i remain "neutral" to both factions in the end?
god damn i crash so fucking much with the sigerous mod. i'm reinstalling and using redux instead. guns are a lot more satisfying when bullets deal the damage they're supposed to.

And why wouldn't you side with a faction ? Not taking sides would mean skipping on major game content.
are there any ways i can make my CoP game any more stable? i have v ram at 2 gigs and everything?
