Same, i bought the game for this mod, doesnt like the mod, need more update. First by making zombies running straight on you, not running around then instantly hit you and waste ton of ammo.
Haha, how about no? :) I really like how the zombies act like, it would be too easy to just run back and pop them in the head if they'd come at you in a straight line
I really hope Arma 2 goes on sale this summer. This looks really fun.
I can't get this thing to work. I followed the video tutorial how to install it, but when I try to join a sever I get C:\programfiles (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\arma2 operation arrowhead\addons\a10.pbo,"...are not signed by a key accepted by this server. To play on this server, remove listed files or install additional accept keys. It says the files a10.pbo, chn_undead.pbo, and chn_undead_misc.pbo are not signed by the server. Any Ideas?

Make headshots actually mean something.
Had a good run, but I'm totally lost. Logged off in the middle of a field, I have no idea of where I am.
Haha, how about no? :) I really like how the zombies act like, it would be too easy to just run back and pop them in the head if they'd come at you in a straight line
You can either have unpredictable and less dangerous, or predictable yet frightening. As it is now, it's just not fun and feels buggy. If they were like they were now, but didn't hit you as soon as they were near and actually followed with their animations, they'd be fine. Likewise if their damage is kept as it is, but their pathing is improved. Anything else makes the player extremely frustrated at how much ammo it takes before you can actually hit the Z.
I wish there were planes. Not F-35s or anything too overpowered, but at least An-2s.
I think tanks would be AWESOME additions. In the right hands they could be completely invicible against zombies and they could provide survivors with huge distractions and killing power as they loot and scavenge. (Like how people use the helicopters to lure zombies away from towns) Obviously make them really hard to repair, but possible for a big group. In the wrong hands bandits roam the country side doing whatever they want, killing whoever and unless the survivors all team up and find some RPG's or set some traps they're going to have to live with the tank in their daily routine. Imagine two guys searching a farm house when all the sudden you hear a rumbling. You head outside and hit the dirt, hiding in the grass as a fucking tank slowly drives past with bandits walking along side it. There was an episode of Jericho like this. Basically the show was set after a nuclear attack on America and a bunch of refugees at a FEMA camp overwhelmed the Marines that were there to help them. Stole their uniforms, gears, guns and the tank they had and went around the country-side tricking people into thinking they were Marines. You know "We need supplies to make it back to our FOB, if you give us some fuel, some food we'll bump you to the top of the list when we start sending relief." Also it's kinda dumb but a train would be cool. There are all those tracks and mods to make the trains work already, it could be a speedy transportation method along the entire coast (AKA: The biggest cities and best loot) and I doubt zombies pose a threat to a train.
I wish there were planes. Not F-35s or anything too overpowered, but at least An-2s.
If a Civilian Jet were to spawn, all I could see happening is someone crashing it into the tallest building in Chernogorsk.
I wish there were planes. Not F-35s or anything too overpowered, but at least An-2s.
A-10s are completely necessary brrrrrrrrm
If a Civilian Jet were to spawn, all I could see happening is someone crashing it into the tallest building in Chernogorsk.
I could see a Cessna being really cool. As it is vehicles are so rare when you see them you sorta just stare in awe as they drive or fly past. Usually whoever is in command of them is so far beyond your skill level and so much more organized than your group they'll pass you by without a glance. And than, as if in a dream, they were gone. [editline]10th May 2012[/editline] How is this dumb?
On Atlanta 1 the other day, some guys had a fully crewed and repair huey. Some guy on a hill near me took potshots with an assault rifle, and that pilot swooped toward where the bullets came from, and one of the gunners fucking owned that guy. It was badass to watch.
Anyone on Chicago 4 wants to team up?
Did any of you guys see the medievac crew operating a chopper, on what I think was one of the US servers a few days ago? It was cool of those guys to airlift people out of trouble and treat the wounded. Hope they didn't get shot down. Everyone is so afraid of everyone else that they'd probably just leave the server till the tank guys left.

Even if you didn't have any ammo left in it, you could just run over everyone and there's nothing they could do except disconnect or hide in a building.
Tanks or any kind of armour would be shitty, 99% wouldn't be able to take them on (considering I found an M136 with one round, that isn't going to do shit to most armour) Plus, logoffski tank would be too much of a power play.
well fuck, is it normal to encounter random player killers crouched in a corner of a building?
well fuck, is it normal to encounter random player killers crouched in a corner of a building?
I immediately ran into one when I started, but 6 hours later I haven't been attacked by another.

I got back to Cherno to look for bloodbags and hope to meet up another player. Coming down from the north, I found myself in what looked like an industrial district. I heard some zombie sounds, looked behind me and there he was. As a reflex, I shot him right in the chest with my Winchester. Big mistake. I hear more and more screams, I start running, but it's dark as shit and I'm at 4300 blood. I don't know where I'm going. The zombies gank on me and I'm trapped I can't move my guy for some reason gets down zombies are eating me alive and I'm down to 1500 blood and- I press Esc and disconnect. It was a good day. This game is fun, but I'm feeling a bit lonely.
Also it's kinda dumb but a train would be cool.
me and my friend found a really damaged chopper in elektro so we were just killing everyone on sight while trying to find parts, we'd found fuel but not much else so we were still looking when suddenly we hear a whizzing noise and the fucking chopper takes off and flies away

My friends drew out the Bandits from the Elektro fire station and I climbed a ladder onto the roof to steal their huey, the problem was that I didn't notice the extremely low fuel counter, so as I took off and flew towards the flare they popped to pick them up, I ran out of fuel and crashed into a building, landing on all 3 of them.
SO IT WAS YOU
I'm living on Stalinsky Island. It is a quiet life where I shoot maybe three zombies every respawn cycle, and reap the rewards of ~4-5 spawns, civilian and industrial. You could always swim out here, but be forewarned as you will lose your backpack and everything in your primary slots.
My group of friends and I are fucking pro at this game, we all have Aks's and atlas packs with a shit ton of medical supplies and the best stuff you can get, and have been alive for days now. Surprisingly we've only come across 2 humans, but never any real scary situation with them. The scary part about this mod is that you're probably always being watched, luckily our group is of 3 people including me, and I'm pretty sure people don't mess around with groups. It would kind of suck to be by yourself in this mod. [editline]11th May 2012[/editline]
Also it's kinda dumb but a train would be cool. well fuck, whenever I join a server after dying I always die instantly, but this time the countdown timer is going painfully slow.

The whole tank thing wouldn't really work since the only place that spawns AT4's is the NW airfield, and whoever owned the tank could just camp it until the end of time
Just add more spawns for RPGs in the patch with the tanks?

I fell into the water and lost everything. It's like going to Las Vegas and getting mugged as soon as you turn onto the strip.
Just add more spawns for RPGs in the patch with the tanks?
That would destroy the atmosphere. There are 49 other players who would kill for my equipment. I wouldn't like to worry about a tank ruining my day too. [editline]10th May 2012[/editline] Also imagine a bandit group that stockpiles RPGs.
