I just got my account password reset from about a year ago, deleted all my characters, and started anew - do we have a guild still up?
I don't get powertrading. Why would somebody play a game just to stand around in a town. That's so boring. I miss my old guild. They were very fun, and weren't obsessed with DoASC and UWSC, but still had a ton of elite players. Very fun, great atmosphere. It's a shame the guild fell apart and disbanded :sigh: [editline]12:39AM[/editline] What I would give to join another guild like that.
Finally conquered Prophecies with my group, after taking some time off to progress on Nightfall and EotN. Also, I am almost broke after buying half the Ancient armor you see there. :P
so let me get this right. if i buy nightfall and factions, i have to play through the different campaigns on another character and get to level 20 again. but what does eye of the north do if it's not a campaign?
so let me get this right. if i buy nightfall and factions, i have to play through the different campaigns on another character and get to level 20 again. but what does eye of the north do if it's not a campaign?
Eye of the North requires one of the campaigns, and I think as long as you're level 10 or higher, you can do it... And what it does is it sets your Health and attributes to a level 20's level, only you're not level 20 so you get way more experience... Getting to level 10 then doing Eye of the north will make you Ding 20 faster than shit Also, your Character can carry over to each campaign, you can do all three on one character, once you're 20 you stay 20. After you beat a campaign you can do hard mode as well, which makes every instance and the missions much harder. And you can do Hard Mode on any character you have, or create from then on, as long as they're level 20 and as long as you've beat the campaign once with any character
Also, your Character can carry over to each campaign, you can do all three on one character
Basically this. At a certain point in each continent (Lion's Arch in Tyria/Prophecies, Kaineng Center in Cantha/Factions, Consulate Docks in Elona/Nightfall) you'll be offered transition quests that will take you to their respective continent. Once you've completed the quest you'll be able to switch between continents/campaigns at will.

^ Oh my god I didn't know that that happened! Fucking awesome.
Got my account back a couple days ago. I leveled a Ritualist to about level 19. If anyone wants to play add Spirit Master Tyoun . I am going to be farming his armor.
Thinking about playing this again, but I dunno really. Being a bit of a perfectionist, I rage over all the stuff I've missed and stuff for the HoM that takes forever to accomplish. But who knows, if I play for a while it might be more than just "getting bonuses in GW2". Maybe I could enjoy the game again.
What's the easiest way of getting money now? All I used to do was farm ecto on my rit.
What's the easiest way of getting money now? All I used to do was farm ecto on my rit.
Farm ecto on a rit.
Farm ecto on a rit.
Oh, ok. I have around 16 ecto right now, so maybe I'll spend it on some new Elementalist armour to put in HoM.
Oh, ok. [editline]03:04AM[/editline] Add Spirit Master Tyoun, I made the official new Facepunch Guild.
I have allowed my friend play on my account. He's impressed with the graphics. Much better than he expected since it's a 2005 game. I suppose they did add minor improvements over the campaigns.
I need money, show me your ways of the Ritualist Farming.
Skills: OACkAuhhoSq01kPY5030ZD00AY1E Add Radiants and Attunements to all your armour pieces. You will have to spawn the spirits in a certain pattern to protect others. If you'd like I could show you in-game. [editline]10:10AM[/editline] IGN: Ritualistic Ness
what's the best way to make money for a ranger or monk solo atm? need som of that gooodness elite armor.
Right, started playing GW again. Joined a guild that is focused on HoM. Main character name: Shiyatsu Shizuka.
Skills: OACkAuhhoSq01kPY5030ZD00AY1E As for the items, go to this guy http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Jahn_Pitz and get a Channeling Focus. Go to http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Helenah for a Ritualist wand. Then add Radiants and Attunements to all your armour pieces. You will have to spawn the spirits in a certain pattern to protect others. If you'd like I could show you in-game.
If this is the build I'm thinking of, those 'half recharge' things are useless, because summoning spirits is a binding ritual, and is not affected by the recharge of spells. The build I use only has 1 spell, actually. And that one already has a duration longer than its recharge. [editline]04:13PM[/editline] Yeah, mine is the same as yours, except you use Summon Spirits, while I use Spirit Leech Aura from EOTN. It heals the spirits when they attack. Also, you only really need about 50 energy to cast all of those spells without waiting. I do it with 48 just fine, and the rest I used to get more health, so I could survive Skeletons of Dhuum better, or the occasional Aatxe hit. Use any weapon combo you want, what he linked you is useless
I personally trap with a Ranger, the Ataxes and Smite Crawlers are nice to do it to, as are the monsters in Stygian Veil (Which is how I got to rank 8 Lightbringer in a single day, along with 200 Skillpoints to buy skills with) That's the same as going from level 19 to 20 200 times, In Hard Mode you'll ding it every run Echo > Serpents Quickness > Dust Trap > Flame Trap > Tripwire > Barbed Trap > Winnowing > Sprint/Trapper's Speed/Whirling Defense for pulling, +16 Wilderness Survival, +15 Expertise, and a +20 Energy Staff (+15 works too) Works great, You just lay down the spirit and then spam traps for 80 seconds and pull, They gather around and attack your spirit, which is where you laid the traps, then get crippled and KD'd and take the damage like a prisoner getting raped An old build of mine, which has been nerfed, in action: Notice the Experience bar, I take the mission, do one group which you see in these two shots, then a second group spawns and I take them out, then repeat A couple more shots of some trapping action (These were taken over 3 years ago mind you) Never underestimate a couple Rangers, we're Badasses And yes I use that same Bow today, although it now does +25% vs Charr, (60% total extra damage vs Charr) That's right, Twenty FIVE percent. I horded quite a few +25% vs Charr mods before Eye of the North came out, and Anet nerfed them after it released to +20%, but all of mine I horded are still +25%
Screenshot please on the 25% mods, preferably showing they can be salvaged. I know someone who had a +15% -1 health regen bow. I don't know if it got modified in the past 2 1/2 years since that person stopped playing, but I was under the impression that the of ___slaying mods got fixed. Unless it's one of those weird non max items like the pre searing rin blade, you might have something valuable.
over the years Anet did turn my Bow into a Shortbow in an update, Oh well :(. The bow has too much sentimental value to me to just toss it out since it's no longer a Longbow, I've had it since the first week of Guild Wars, Besides, It's useful with Needleshot and Quick shot as a Shortbow Those Sword Pommels are also +25% vs Charr. I've given most of them away to the guild but I've got about 6 or 7 total left I might try to sell them for some ridiculous amount of cash... 30 Plat or so a pop
Sold them all, 30 Plat each... Should have jacked them up to 80 plat a piece
Does anyone want to play, sort of bored after the long ass waits for Jade Quarry.

Haha, Been there done that before, more than once... but my Scythe I got from a treasure chest made up for it... it was perfect... max damage, 20% Enchant, couple other mods I can't name off top of my head... I kept it, customized it, and now taunt everyone with it Also some guy was offering me 24 Ecto for those Upgrades I sold for just 30 plat... Son of a btich

It's worthless...
No I'm not showing off, Someone asked for screenshots of the 25% mods is all, and I now have 300 Plat in my storage, heh Which will probably never be used Nice staff though
