Ah shivering isles. I really don't think any DLC they can come up with will be able to compare. Remember that one quest with the felldew, and you had to deal with withdrawal symptoms? It was hurry and find some, or be forced to leave your stuff in a dark cave system. It also didn't help if you ran out of torches. Nighteye really has no use in Skyrim does it?
Dawnguard is looking pretty promising so far, and Nighteye is a blessing if you have a custom post processing injector mod. (It is absolutely pitch black in some caves for me, making stealth scary.) Vanilla, not so much.
http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/6002 Looks like it got updated about two months ago
Well yeah they updated it. You don't get the " shakyness " like before, it's kind of sad for me because i like a bit of head bobbing, for the immersion etc. Otherwise now it works pretty well, no more shakyness, you can pretty much use bows now, but horses are still bugged.
I don't know if it's been pointed out before but the guy who made the Silver Dragon armor and the Behemoth dragon model is ridiculously prolific. He has a lot of stuff on his dA gallery http://zerofrust.deviantart.com/gallery/ [img_thumb]http://th03.deviantart.net/fs70/PRE/f/2012/149/e/8/wicked_witch__dress_for_skyrim_by_zerofrust-d51kl29.jpg[/img_thumb] Well I for one am excite.
Looks like something Lady Syl would wear
I think Babette broke. [img_thumb]http://filesmelt.com/dl/2012-06-10_000012.jpg[/img_thumb]
I'm missing something. What's broke?
I'm missing something. What's broke?
a vampire with the body of an 8-year old is the same height as an adult?
I'm missing something. What's broke?
Babette is supposed to be a child, compare their heights.
a vampire with the body of an 8-year old is the same height as an adult?
To me, it just looks like she's standing on a higher ledge.
To me, it just looks like she's standing on a higher ledge.
Oddly enough she's not. That's her actual size when I met her.
Wow, what the hell, probably late on this but the necromage perk works on yourself if you're a vampire. Suddenly a reason to get vampirism. [editline]10th June 2012[/editline]
Oddly enough she's not. That's her actual size when I met her.
Soemtimes NPCs increase in size for some reason. There's that hags cure woman in markarth and she's a breton, but sometimes when I walk into the shop she's as tall as a nord woman.
From what I can tell is that she seems to be that way permanently.

With wars in Skyrim it really differs the race heights, hp, magica, stuff like that. Just makes it a bit more real.

It applied to you if you were a vampire.
I think Babette broke. [img_thumb]http://filesmelt.com/dl/2012-06-10_000012.jpg[/img_thumb]
I posted a picture like this a while ago also, the kids on skyrim must be on growth hormones or something, probably in the milk.
a vampire with the body of an 8-year old is the same height as an adult?
Most kids in the game are like that. Alvor's daughter in Riverwood was also the same height as me.

Huh, there are faeries in The Elder Scrolls universe?
Anyone know the console command to make something unowned? Doesn't make sense that I can't sleep in the bed of someone I murdered who lives alone in the woods.
Some info for you guys.
I wonder how the dragonbone weapons will look in Dawnguard.
I wonder how the dragonbone weapons will look in Dawnguard.
Like something you would find in a horker's stomach I bet.
I hope that the dragon bone weapons are better than deadric.
I hope we get crossbows, bolts and (if in) spears of each material, incluiding dragonbone (and arrows of that one too). And the ability to forge and improve them.
Kinda sucks how dragonbone armor is worst than daedric, considering how you have to be level 100 to get dragonbone. I can see why they would make daedric better, though. Both daedra hearts and ebony ingots are fairly rare and I often find myself carrying too many dragonbones and scale as compared to too many daedra hearts and ebony ingots. If anything you should unlock dragonbone smithing before daedric smithing.
According to the lore, nothing is stronger than Daedric, IIRC. Plus, Dragon is more accessible, and the difference ends up not mattering much anyway. Also, Dragon Smithing is the ultimate light armor perk as well. I'd personally place it as only requiring Advanced Armors (and that one only needing Steel Smithing, or a Steel retooled that also enables Leather, and boost the improvements of Iron and Hide).
I hope we get crossbows, bolts and (if in) spears of each material, incluiding dragonbone (and arrows of that one too). And the ability to forge and improve them.
I don't really see why having a bow or crossbow made of a particular material would help anything in real life. like, I get that you want it to be fine-tuned so it's more effective at firing arrows, but couldn't you just get a competent smith to make it out of regular steel and wood? the arrows I understand, so they're sharper and such, but why would the bow being made of anything else affect it? I get that there's meant to be variation, but if there were any sense it'd be different kinds of bows made from the same things, but arrows made from better materials. [editline]11th June 2012[/editline] I mean unless you intend to be using your bow as a club or something the material itself shouldn't really come into it
I hope the new DLC doesn't fuck over mods, i.e. Improved Werewolves or anything like that.
According to the lore, nothing is stronger than Daedric, IIRC.
Really? Because when I fight Daedra in Skyrim they seem about as easy as a Bandit Chief on Expert with PISE and Duel installed.
Really? Because when I fight Daedra in Skyrim they seem about as easy as a Bandit Chief on Expert with PISE and Duel installed.
there's probably a difference between what they wear and the armor you get, which makes sense when you think about it, since you'd need a load of Daedra hearts to make the armour so the Daedra wearing it would have to be important enough to have others sacrifce themselves for him, which is probably why high-level Daedra are more durable.
