Well if you're playing the CS that most people play (without friendly fire) you can just open fire on them anyway and if they're a friendly it's fine
That gives you away on radar though.
cant wait to get my hands on CSGO!! :D
I wonder if they will have jailbreak on CS:GO and if it will be different? I hope they do because it is fun.
jailbreak is only fun when you kill people.

He had a gun.
Is there any chance of a public beta? I'm not a ~pro~ player and I missed the conventions. :saddowns:
Is there any chance of a public beta? I'm not a ~pro~ player and I missed the conventions. :saddowns:
It'll be open later. I'm not saying soon because Valve.
It'll be open later. I'm not saying soon because Valve.
That's good, I'm quite interested in CS:GO.
I would love nothing more if Valve decides to open up the beta for people as a Christmas present to us or something, probably being optimistic here, it's Valve.

Instead of making another video as a comparison and taking up far too much of my time trying to edit everything together, I made a screenshot comparison between CS1.6, CS: Condition Zero, CS: Source, and CS: Global Offensive. It shows off differences between near identical positions in Dust and Dust 2. http://csnation.net/content.php?818-Counter-Strike-Through-the-Years-A-Look-at-the-Past-Present-and-Future-of-Dust-and-Dust-2 It's two pages. There's a button on the top and bottom of the article that will take you to the second page that showcases the Dust 2 shots. Figured some here might like this.

[editline]4th December 2011[/editline] But then again, I'm just nitpicking. I'm actually really looking forward to GO.
Would anyone in the beta mind uploading the models/textures/maps/sounds I would love to port them to gmod or CSS!!

It would be cool if people who preorder would get access to the beta.
It would be cool if people who preorder would get access to the beta.
you can pre order it?!?!
I meant when it becomes open for preorder.

Gorons/Infoslash are better.
It's pretty cool that you can take control of the bots after you die
No scoping with the AWP is even easier now.
how did you guys get into beta?
how did you guys get into beta?
Part of me believes that my status as the guy who runs CS- Nation has something to do with it. But I feel as though it was more my begging that did it in the end. Most everyone else either got it as a pro CS player, went to industry shows such as PAX and Eurogamer Expo where Valve gave out a ton of keys, bought off eBay, or traded someone for a key. The beta isn't "public" yet, in a manner of speaking. Also, I really wish they got Dust 2 working properly for online matchmaking.
i think about half the people who are in the beta on facepunch got it from personguy when he held the little poem contest and the other half got it from conventions. then we have smashman and snowcanary who are a part of sts and wiki. [editline]4th December 2011[/editline] also i thought you died zips ever since garry closed down your newsbot

Am I the only one who thinks CS 6.1/5.6 play better than all of the other versions of counterstrike.
6.1 and 5.6??? [editline]4th December 2011[/editline] those sucked a lot of dick
6.1 and 5.6??? [editline]4th December 2011[/editline] those sucked a lot of dick
Your unedited post reveals you had no clue what I was talking about therefor the rest is irrelevant. I'm talking about CS before the mod team sold out to valve and then they all quit because Valve decided to fuck up their game.
