I think after this is done we should get someone who actually knows something about texturing to clean it up a bit.

Just suggestions from other people, and it ends up being much nicer. If it got cleaned up, it just feels like it would lose the "feel". Anyway, the planks really need to be separated into individual planks, not just long lines. Claiming trapdoor. Trapdoor done.

I'll add it real quick, also I'll fix the wood I suppose.

Better? and updated terrain file (now with trapdoor) [editline]28th March 2012[/editline]
You never posted the wood door on a terrain file though?
it was in the OP, don't sweat it.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/1ZTmr.png[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/3ArB2.png[/t] Model home. Not with the door though, it was made before the file was posted.

If we are using Rammlied's cobblestone, we are going to need to edit it for the sandstone texture.
If we are using Rammlied's cobblestone, we are going to need to edit it for the sandstone texture.
I have no idea what you're trying to say. Clarify?
He wants sandstone to look like cobble. However the default sandstone doesn't have the same cracks as cobble either, so I don't know why.

-Did Coal Ore [t]http://i.imgur.com/6CZuC.png[/t] I think it tiles horribly. Should I redo it, or just scrap it?

Coal is tricky because it has to be black. To do a good ore you have to go from really bright to dark if you want it to be shiny, but coal doesn't really do that, so it usually ends up being ugly.

Wow, we are actually making progress. I luv' it.
I claim the Decorative Sandstone. Pick which one you want: or Here are pictures: (I see that we have chosen the second one for the texture pack, then.)
Aren't those from 1.2 but wasn't added as a block? A direct quote from Minecraft wiki:
Two new blocks have been added to the terrain.png file. They look similar to Sandstone but instead they contain hieroglyphics. These blocks have not been added to game yet. I'm pretty sure they made them craftable in 1.2.4
Yeah, They did make them craftable in 1.2.4, But that isn't what I'm talking about. I'm talking about the texture Damian0358 claimed to make, The ones he claimed to make was actually the ones which were in the 1.2 terrain.png. So he didn't make them, He simply stole them from the old terrain.png and claimed them for him self.
I'm pretty sure they made them craftable in 1.2.4
Yeah, four sandstone makes one of them and two sandstone slabs makes another one.
The powder keg has been bothering me because it looks really plain. Anyone mind if I touch it up with some shading?
I can't do coal. It keeps coming out like shit.
The powder keg has been bothering me because it looks really plain. Anyone mind if I touch it up with some shading?
Give us a preview and I'll tell you what I think.
Torch and Lever done. [t]http://i.imgur.com/1RTO8.png[/t]
Claiming diamond ore.
Okay i don't do texturepacks, however i was thinking that the pumpkin should have no face when it's not lit. It's not like you find a carved one all around.
Torch and Lever done. [t]http://i.imgur.com/1RTO8.png[/t]
I really like that torch design, good work!
Is it obvious that I'm using the glass texture's wooden bars for anything that is a wood stick?
Is it obvious that I'm using the glass texture's wooden bars for anything that is a wood stick?
I didn't notice until you pointed it out.
I didn't notice until you pointed it out.
Did you ever finish Diamond Ore?
