Now it just looks unprofessional
I fully don't understand what your problem is, do you seriously want me to remove all the placeholder mods which would leave the site looking emptier than your bed on prom night? :p
I fully don't understand what your problem is, do you seriously want me to remove all the placeholder mods which would leave the site looking emptier than your bed on prom night? :p
I'm just giving you advice (that I think I rationalised pretty well) that would make the site more user friendly and less misleading/frustrating to new users. If you're trying to start up a new site and it's immediately confusing and misdirecting users then you're off to a bad start Especially when the demographic you are targeting contains both developers and end-users So yes, I am suggesting you remove the placeholder content

He's suggested getting a reasonable collection of mods and launching with them to avoid both issues.

All dummy content has been removed /shitfest
you should think of a way so people can show what mods the used for their crafts like a button to select the mods used on the website so little clickable thumbnails get added to a list and an option to type in the name is the mod isn't on the site yet.
There is already a system in place for this, the "required mods" field allows the author to specify mods that are required to use the part/plugin/craft that they are uploading. It is a good idea to have a dedicated one and I'll look into it.

Computer video game mod index sites are SERIOUS BUSINESS
I got into Munar orbit in an hour and forty minutes. Is that better than average?
Real-world time or time recorded by KSP?
Real-world time or time recorded by KSP?
Recorded by KSP.
Happy?
I'm flattered you're using my Mercury-Redstone rocket picture :v:
You can currently edit someone else's description And can't you add a category "Parts" for mods that aren't plugins? It's like it's focusing too much on saves right now (SPH and VAB on top)
I fucking hate it when mechjeb doesnt use SAS it like chooses to use it or not
I'm flattered you're using my Mercury-Redstone rocket picture :v:
Well it is such a nice picture c: [editline]asd[/editline] I put some of my god awful craft files up [editline]asd[/editline]
You can currently edit someone else's description And can't you add a category "Parts" for mods that aren't plugins? If not logout and in again. also added the "Parts" category as requested. would love to see some more on it ;D

How do you use two command pods? Is it an addon with one as a placeable part in the VAB?
How do you use two command pods? Is it an addon with one as a placeable part in the VAB?
Yeah, it's the 2 meter pod addon, I also added the BACE unmanned controller.. but I'm not sure it actually does anything in 0.16 You can only control it manually though, so you cant use SAS or mechjeb (i have it on anyway for data). It's fine for getting home, you don't need a perfect trajectory for that.
look pa guys are spacex fans. the big guy has the same desktop bg image as me and surely a few hundred others :D
Welcome to the irritational space station! You might think it's too simple to be practical in science, but has a claw on it so you know it's legit!
Believe it or not that was the FIRST SUBVERSION that I've worked on for this project, it was preceded by about 50+ test flights of similar craft that all fucked up, but that was the first version that worked. It worked surprisingly well at that, too. However, it still needs A LOT of work, mainly a bit more lift, re-positioning of the landing gear so they don't look out of place, and more fuel needs to be fit in somewhere. If you want I can still upload this version, or wait a day or so and I'll upload the final version of the basic variant?
I'll wait, I'd love to see what you can do with it, I am hopeless at building large aircraft in KSP. edit: The updated MEM is pretty good, and it isn't too big either. I was able to fit a small station part for longer missions due to the MEM pod size.
