XSI is free? I am not sure. it is just like a 3ds max like environment. it has little export ability Nativity. it needs plug ins but I think .3ds max can open it's files?

Dropped Hubble in a 1000 meter orbit around the moon and quickly landed. After warping forwards 36 minutes (telescope was due to fly over in 37) I launched into the same orbit again and right on cue Hubble came floating up next to my spacecraft. It was then a simple matter of tapping the RCS to null out any relative speed. I didn't think it would be so easy to do, I didn't need all these fucking flares. [img]http://i.imgur.com/SEABd.png[/img] Having successfully completed my mission objective of performing a lunar orbit rendezvous, I prepared to fuck off back to Kerbin. then KSP crashed yayayayayteytyashjdhnhgnngh
So what programs do I need to make new parts for this here game? Blender? I feel like making something instead of just going "PLZ MAEK DIS SHIP I LUVV DAT SERES!!!"
I model with 3ds max 2012. Texturing can be done with any image editing program, usually Photoshop.
Anything which I don't have to spend money on just to mod this, or some other game.

only sketch up exports awfully.

Now that Cardboard has the models I made and I'm on standby, I decided to download the Ausplane and try to reverse-engineer it to produce a new space plane for Kosmos. It won't be Klipper-based, since Klipper would require deployable wings, which is currently impossible. Instead, this will be my first original design.
