Solar orbit only? That's a stupid idea.
You could orbit Kerbin and Mun aswell but if you go out of the suns orbit then its kinda hard to catch up. [editline]9th April 2012[/editline]
That would not work, you see... Quoted from the kessler main page. Won't he be sad when I smash that MIR replica into the moon? Once you have a ship, changes made to it aren't copied back to the server - they stay local to your save file. So just because it's smashed into the moon on your save doesn't mean everyone else's copies of the same MIR will do the same. The change would only happen to your copy, unless everybody smashed it, if i read it right.
Oh well.
Yeah sadly i won't be able to put up a server, does anybody else have the ability to?
I do but I don't wanna sign my self up to anything.
I could set one up, maybe. I use my server for a lot of things, so don't count on it.

It would be ridiculously hard and not any practical at all, but it sure is interesting kind of like a paradox whereas your satellite is orbiting while for him both blew up because his clipped inside yours.

Then yes that should work, but it would be difficult. (matching where exactly the satellite was originally.) Really the only way to troll is to upload lots and lots of orbiting space junk and/or to fly up really resource taxing ships.

Hey guys haven't popped in the thread in quite a while. how's the multiplayer mod doing? Does stuff still only sync / update every time you launch a new craft or is it real time now?
Hey guys haven't popped in the thread in quite a while.
At first I was like "Yes you have, you just posted your Ding Dong Shepard stream earlier today" and then I realized I was in the wrong tab. :v:
No you have to go to the Kerbal Space Center screen to update the game.
Yep, ksp mods just reached a whole new level of retardation. They just banned an entire network(Plusnet) and aparently they will ban any other networks that I join on.
They banned what? Also, that's not how we're supposed to deal with those things now.
How does one join the ksp IRC?
They banned what? Also, that's not how we're supposed to deal with those things now.
Anyone that has Plusnet as an ISP is banned. [editline]10th April 2012[/editline] irc://irc.esper.net/kspofficial
Why?
That means I can't join either. Anyway, just connect through VPN's on as many different ISP's as possible. Eventually they will have to give up. The more efficient version of this is to find out what ISP's the mods use and use VPN's on them, then they can't ban them.
Cause they are tech illiterate, evidently. [editline]10th April 2012[/editline]
That means I can't join either. Maybe they just thought an IP ban wasn't harsh enough.
C7 is on comcast aswell. [editline]10th April 2012[/editline] Socket7 is on verizon.

thread lurker here, why don't you guys just LEAVE the KSP forums if its so shit?
why does that fucking video keep coming back all the fucking time :v:
thread lurker here, why don't you guys just LEAVE the KSP forums if its so shit?
People go there to get mods.
Anyone using plus.net try to access the KSP forums? Is it really banned?
Anyone using plus.net try to access the KSP forums is really banned?
IRC, not the forums.
IRC, not the forums.
So you don't have to register or post on the KSP forums to get mods and parts? I'm confused at the moment over all this.
Well. Socket7 sets mode: +b *!*@*.dyn.plus.net Is what they did.
People go there to get mods.
Not to mention news about upcoming updates and their contents. And meppers, you don't have to lurk here. We're all friends in this thread! All of us.
I took the time to carefully explain to Darlex just how much thin ice he was on in the IRC and how this was his last chance to behave and he seemed to have turned around and even apologised for going in without all the facts, then, he started masquerading as me which then got him banned. He's not yet banned from the forums, just the IRC. (And yet if the mods were really as bad as some people claim, he'd have been banned from the forums and IRC without so much as a second chance) So anyone on plus net, don't blame the KSP mods, blame Darlex for being given several chances (much like causeless) and blowing them. They really aren't as bad as you think, they even knew that he was on the IRC on an alt and let him remain there as long as he behaved, and he didn't. Frankly, he pulled shit he wouldnt have gotten away with on here let alone anywhere else. Nobody is at fault here, except for Darlex himself. I stuck my neck out trying to get him to behave and work things out amicabaly on both sides, sadly, it failed, due to the user, and its to the credit of the mods that they haven't turned around and had a go at me, because they were really sick of dealing with him, but i asked them to give him one last chance and let me sort him out.
