Which reminds me, do you remember when there was a full stock market in eRepublik? Craaaaazy
During the period of time when it first started it was absolute insanity. Why? Because it was making gold out of nothing essentially. You could make mad profit. Then people sort of wised up too how it worked and nobody was buying anything and the whole market froze. Good stuff! haha
How do you vote?
Wait for an election (15th, 5th and 25th of every month), and there should be some sort of thing on the front page, giving you a heads up to vote.
what makes a company worth more than other companies?
A few factors such as what level of product it makes (1 star, 2 star, etc.) combined with which region its in(weapons company in region with high iron would be worth more than one in medium iron etc.) Also a reminder in case you guys didn't know, always end the day with 50 health because you automatically gain 50 health at the end of the day. Every point of health over 50 you are wasting that potential!
Level 7 at last! 7 gold towards the cause!! FP - e-Sim guy - plex
Plex has donated his 7 gold to the cause!
Could someone give me a little money for food? im one exp point away from level 4. :v:
At this point I would to restate our instructions (in addition to training, fighting, and working regularly) Facepunchers in South Korea: Congratulations on your new companies! To ensure smooth production of food the following criteria must be met: The Grain Company must have more workers than the Food company at all times. If the Food Company has at least 2 employees fewer than the Grain Company, you may join the Food Company. Facepunchers in Lithuania and other countries: While our companies go on its maiden voyage we must not forget we are on a seperate mission. Continue following the Dollar-a-Day plan and eagerly await the day we may flock to Korea with armfuls of wealth for its economy. ~This message has been brought to you by the Ministry of Indoctri- I mean Education.~

Joined as Gnomical, worked, but I cannot fight as the only fight is not in my area. I worked for Glorious grains. Not really sure what to do next.
Joined as Gnomical, worked, but I cannot fight as the only fight is not in my area. I worked for Glorious grains. Not really sure what to do next.
just wait a little bit, a fight will spring up somewhere eventually.
Just an idea for the future when we have a larger gold pool: I mentioned it in one of my earlier posts. We could have a person in foreign countries using our gold for investment purposes. What I mean is what is roughly equivalent to a "stock market" i.e. the company market. What you do is buy the least expensive companies in a pool of companies for sale. Then you turn around and sell them for slightly higher prices. Such as buy company for 14.5 gold and sell it for 15. In the end it's only .5 gold, BUT, if you are doing this with say, 15 companies that is 7.5g. It works slowly, but is a solid way to slowly accrue extra gold with money that would have otherwise been sitting around doing nothing. What it takes is a sizable pool of gold a) to buy as many initial companies and b) buy up any company that happens to try to undercut your prices the only risk are people undercutting you and just taking too long to sell a company and having gold tied up in that investment, but in erep i found that neither was too much of a concern.
we could also speculate
I'm Jung3o and I have no idea what I'm doing. And I work for SK Guns if that even matters
OK I traveled to South Chungcheong and fought twice for Korea. Now I can't buy food because the currency is not the same. Can I convert some of it to their currency?
Ministry of Plenty (our mu should be called the Ministry of Peace) (and our newspaper the Ministry of Truth)
I love the 1984 Reference, and I fully support that message haha
Found out how, and I put up an offer. Maybe someone will buy and I can buy food before I have to go to bed.
I'm Jung3o and I have no idea what I'm doing. And I work for SK Guns if that even matters
Don't work for that Portuguese asshole. Quit and join Glorious grains or Glorious breads: The FP Companies
OK I traveled to South Chungcheong and fought twice for Korea. Now I can't buy food because the currency is not the same. Can I convert some of it to their currency?
Yes but you will have to post an offer if no one on the monetary market is offering a conversion. Then you will have to wait for someone to buy your offer. That or you can convert your money to gold then gold to KRW
Don't work for that Portuguese asshole. Quit and join Glorious grains or Glorious breads: The FP Companies
damn it I have to go to sleep and wait for 6 hours. I guess I'll join ya'll tomorrow. :/
its interesting how badly some countries are defended, most have few defensive buildings and its only a matter of the size of the country attacking/defending to who wins the war eg greece. it has a section with high iron and companies valued up to 29000 gold, yet only 1 defensive building
oh fuck I didn't read and i thought I was attacking not defending :v:
Hospitals are usually more useful than defensive buildings.
I haven't checked, are there hospitals in e-sim?
Yeah, there is a thing called Hospital. It reduces the damage you take from battle 10 to 7.5 or depending on the quality of one.
I joined up in South Korea yesterday and fought some Indonesian bastards today, username is Studmuffin47, so add me to that list.
I added a bunch of you, my username is Dexanemus, feel free to send me a friend request if I didn't send you one. [editline]12th April 2012[/editline] Also, could someone spare some gifts? I'm not exactly sure what to do after working, I spent my money on food, ate the food inorder to fight some more, and now I need some more food so that I can fight a bit more, I accidentally left my job that had a decent pay of 6.01 so I gotta wait till tomorrow to get a new one now and the only one I can see has a salary of 1.00 KRW :v:
