Should I switch jobs constantly to get higher and higher salaries?
Yup. No doubt your skill will go up so you will need a better paying job to represent that. Gotta wait 6 hours after you join a company to leave though.
When can I expect a Facepunch company to be created?
Should I switch jobs constantly to get higher and higher salaries?
That depends on your boss. Most bosses 'upgrade' your salarie for each production level you achieve. [editline]9th April 2012[/editline]
This is like a carbon copy of eRepublik.
It shares a lot of traits, Yes. But what makes this interesting for us is that the playerbase is still relatively small (About 20-30.000 i believe) and that means we can be decisive in what happens!
I've applied for Citizenship in South Korea, I'm just going to start up there and support the economy and hopefully get into a party and give me a head start which is good when everyone else comes over.

Untill we set up our own network we will need to pull every string for help.
I joined Lithuania as ATDoop
Joined South Korea, not Lithuania, as Jacos. Hopefully someone will make a Facepunch newspaper and party, not actually mentioning Facepunch, if necessary to keep our invasion secret.
If a Facepunch party gets created, I'd like to be in Foreign Relations.
Still playing that erep.
Still playing that erep.
Feel free to join us too. You obviously have no obligations and we could use someone with experience.
Ok, just finished updating the list on Page 1. If you did not receive a friend request from me just send one and I should accept.
Oh and guys. I want to make a userbase but it's really hard with all the people joining right now. Does anyone perhaps know of a site where we could make one? [editline]9th April 2012[/editline] Great work Hidole555 :)
Thank you. Also, good job DVH on getting to level 5 on your first day. You play pretty damn effectively. [editline]9th April 2012[/editline] Judging from what I've been reading the current Korean government is pretty humble. It looks like we won't have to wrest control from an infiltrating nation... BUT! I could always be wrong, so it's still best if we keep this under wraps.
Thank you. Also, good job DVH on getting to level 5 on your first day. You play pretty damn effectively.
No weapons all food. You deal as much damage as a wet turd, but you rck up XP pretty well. Lack of damage doesn't really matter too, because you don't want our enemies to become even more powerful.

So basically this game is a carbon copy of Erepublik but before Erep turned to shit? Sounds fucking great. I don't know if anyone remembers me, I was one of the main organisers of the eSK movement when it began along with my buddy monkey11. The history of facepunch goes back a long way in erepublik actually, and I have been involved in the most of the main movements dating back to when we first liberated eGermany from the tyrannical clutches of Sweden. My character name was Abdul'Allah Kazim Zyrgazi. In the beginning of the eSK movement I made a company called the Islamic Grain Company(a company name facepunch has used since our start on erep) where we had like 125 or so facepunchers working for almost slave wages but consequently got free food and we flooded our obscenely cheap food onto the eSK market driving the price of everything spiraling down to next to nothing, which was actually very good for the economy haha. Good times! We built up a massive sum of gold from company profits and from facepuncher referral gold but then our president to be(monkey11) was assassinated on the eve of his presidency by the foul goons. If anyone wants to know about some of facepunchs history in erepublik feel free to ask. I don't know anything about this new game however.
Give us a history, I think it is too much lulz too pass up.
We need an experienced player like you.
I was there on erep, I ended up moving to the UK and buying a company then selling it for shit tons of Gold and being rich.

I hope we can manage to do something like that too!
The tears of joy running down my face right now. I was the leader of the Facepunch involvment in eRepublik Korea, along with the help of my friends abdul allah kazim zyrgazi, and Khorne the blood god. I am more the happy to jump on board this game with my fellow facepunchers.

Looking at Scientist2's friend list there's a couple people who joined but didn't post. Keep in mind if I don't know you're playing there's no way I can add you to the list.
I've joined up. Is there any way to really manipulate the money market right before we all go to Korea? Someone would have to buy a bunch of KRW (Korean money) right before we invade for cheap and then sell it back for tons more after the invasion and economic boom.

We have to keep in mind that some people will not like the game and leave though.

But we want to avoid that the current regime starts printing money because they have none anymore. That would obviously drastically decrease the value.
The amount of sign-ups is crazy. We have to keep in mind that some people will not like the game and leave though.
I suppose so. To iron out some details, when the company is made it should be made in the Korean capital. Since we're all training still we don't have to worry about it right now, but exactly would be a good time to start accruing Korean currency rather than spending money on training? Added sgman to the list.
Alright heading into Lithuania.
Alright heading into Lithuania.
Alright. What's your name so I can add you to the list?
Signed up and headed for Lithuania.
