Was anyone here actually able to prevent the presidents assassination at hoover dam their first time? I remember standing there listening to his speech when I blinked and suddenly his head gets blown off.
I remember the first time I was standing off to the side of the president, on a roof or something, scanning the crowd with my sniper. Seeing nothing of interest, I decided to walk along the dam to see if there was anything interesting. That was when I came across the body of the ranger. So I immedietly climbed up the building and confronted the guy, who turned out to be Legion. I melee killed him, and radioed in the disturbance. THAT was when I remembered the bomb on the Vertibird. So without thinking, I jump off the roof, breaking a leg, and run to the Vertibird. I didn't have any stimpacks, so I was stuck with a bum leg. I manage to defuse the bomb as the 'bird lifted off the ground. I felt fucking boss after that.

Wait can you just stand in front of the president the whole time and take the bullet?
Wait can you just stand in front of the president the whole time and take the bullet?
Only if you scream "NOOOOOOOOOOO!" while the bullet comes whizzing by.
Only if you scream "NOOOOOOOOOOO!" while the bullet comes whizzing by.
Jumping in slow motion is also a necessity.
Wait what bomb on the veritbird? It never exploded for me,
Wait can you just stand in front of the president the whole time and take the bullet?
No, if you try to walk onto the stage his guards shoot you.
I can't continue on my save because Tranquility Lane crashes me.

Fucking Requiem for the Capital Wastleland. I download the lastest version from the nexus and the fucking instructions don't match the latest version. Then it ends with "I took the time to write this, take the time to read it." Fuck you.
First, you using any mods? I remember that having live iguanas in your inventory crashes the game. Second, the install instructions for RFCW in the download folder are correct, the instructions on the nexus are not.
Jumping in slow motion is also a necessity.
Then doing a powerslide when you land.
A guide on installing RFCW. [editline]20th February 2012[/editline]
First, you using any mods? I remember that having live iguanas in your inventory crashes the game. Second, the install instructions for RFCW in the download folder are correct, the instructions on the nexus are not.
The download on the Nexus isn't even correct; it's missing quite a few esp files. [editline]20th February 2012[/editline]
Does anyone know where I can buy New Vegas for cheap? Steam's got it for $40 but I want to know if their is a 3rd party company (such as GreenManGaming) that sell it for less.
It was on sale for about £5 during the sales, so I'd recommend waiting. [editline]20th February 2012[/editline]
I can't continue on my save because Tranquility Lane crashes me.
If you're using RFCW, then it'll do that. If you're playing FO3, then try reloading a previous save/looking for a backed up save.
Wait, does anyone even use Nvamp anymore?
I don't think so. Too much of a bitch to install I guess.
Fallout 2 is fucking awesome especially with the restoration project
Fallout 2 is fucking awesome especially with the restoration project
Best Fallout game, hands down. There's just so much stuff to do.
Ive never been able to finish the main quest in fallout 2 for some reason. Did just about everything else though.
i have played fallout 3 so many times over it now makes me physically sick to play it now
i have played fallout 3 so many times over it now makes me physically sick to play it now
Same with me - especially since I played it on the Xbox, so modding was out of the question. Gonna get a decent PC soon, maybe with mods it'll be more enjoyable.
same, is the aiming better for the pc version?
same, is the aiming better for the pc version?
I guess so - for one, you get to use a mouse, which is way more precise than a gamepad. And I remember reading something about an ironsights mod a while ago.
Good times playing Fallout 3 for the first time, until I met the fire ants.
Good times playing Fallout 3 for the first time, until I met the fire ants.
I avoided that place until I got laser/plasma weapons.
Good times playing Fallout 3 for the first time, until I met the fire ants.
It reminds me of the time when I went to that place full of ants in Fallout 3 (it involves a certain quest with a science experiment that went wrong, I believe). I was killing them pretty easy one by one with my hunting rifle. I took the advantage of going up inside a building and saw a lone ant. Thinking it was easy prey, I took my time and aim for it AND THEN IT SPOUT FLAMES AT ME. Sure it might not be too surprising to most people but it was my first time encountering them and I completely did not see that coming. It took most of my health; I panicked and ran away. I did not bother messing with those ants until I was a good portion through the game.
There's a reason they put the MIRV in the game.
I hated how useless the Chinese and 32 pistols were.
And no 9mm Mauser either. Pisses my dick off, that.
Whoever made/was making that radio mod needs to add Mr. Sandman.
no use this also here's that fucking playlist again http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLDD60EA2EB414A73E&feature=mh_lolz
