This just in from Aperture Science, the big Valve and Portal 2 event to be held at the Regal Theater next to the E3 venue on June 14th has been canceled! Don't worry though, Valve and Aperture promises that the event will be replaced by a surprise!
Dear Subject Name Here, Aperture Science is pleased to inform you that we have partnered with Valve to announce the gala CANCELLATION of the June 14 Portal 2 event at the Regal Theater. The event will be replaced by a surprise. And even though the cancellation of the event certainly counts as a surprise, we are pleased to further announce that the cancellation of the event is not THE surprise. However, per International treaties regarding the definition of the word "surprise", of which both Aperture Science and Valve are signatories, the time, date and content of the actual surprise will only become available as you experience the surprise.
Look at Valve, teasing us with an announcement of an announcement. Let the speculation begin!
Interesting, can't wait for E3
Surprise Steam Release of Portal 2 and EP3 on July 14th
The only thing that could make up for a Portal 2 event cancellation is an Episode Three reveal. VALVE, DON'T LET ME DOWN.
Oh sweet Jesus is it finally time?!
If it's not Episode Three i'll shoot everyone there.
I almost have the feeling that there won't be an Ep3 based on how often everyone at Valve keeps saying, "Episode 3? We've never announced any Episode 3..." with a coy smile. I am almost willing to believe it will be a full sequel, Half-Life 3. Either that or there will finally come the Ep3 announcement along with news that the Source engine has been dramatically overhauled with some lovely new visual tech.
Source ?
This is the new News Node. We hang out here and wait for Zips to post interesting news stories on time.
Better be something like Ep3 or better to make up for Portal 2.
EP3 reveal is plausible, because why would they release a game set in the same universe, three hundred years in the future without explaining what happened to cause the world to look like this?
:iiam:
I love how that's written. Typical Valve humor.
remove valve, bring back csnation newsbot
:iiam:
fixed
Maybe something that isn't Half-life Ep3 but a new game concept. But I really hope for EP3.
Holy fuck the hype train has begun.
I can't get hyped without Valve showing some new tech.
Zips, where's the source for this? A press release?
I honestly can't wait for EP3. I'm so stoked for it.
remove valve, bring back csnation newsbot
But then there is no point in this forum... If we remove Valve, we remove Steam If we remove Steam, we remove Garrysmod If we remove Garrysmod, we remove Garry If we remove Garry, we remove This Forum. :eng101:
Full-Life Bam
Bring back CSNation, I miss you zips
I swear if it's got anything to do with the Left 4 Dead franchise I'm gonna be maaaaaaaaaaaaaaad.
Where's the source zips?

Even though I'm not really that interested in half-life I'd like to see episode 3 if only to see how it all wraps up.
Where's the source zips?
http://kotaku.com/5552813/surprise-no-portal-2-party-at-e3 http://www.justpushstart.com/2010/06/01/portal-2-event-cancelled-for-e3/
Zips, where's the source for this? A press release?
Yeah, not that I don't trust you Zips, but where is the source?
I hope it starts out as a Left 4 Dead 3 trailer, then a headcrab jumps through the "screen" and everything falls apart to reveal Episode 3. Also the Episode 3 trailer would play to this tune.
it will most likely be either ep 3 or they will have like 5 or 6 different cool pre-order specials.i hope either both or NINJA ENGIE UPDATE ALL DAYS RELEASE!
