Ok, so, ME2 has a steam page, just no purchase link. I'm guessing they're going to add the link later? And hells to the yeah on hopefully romancing Tali [editline]06:51PM[/editline]
Wooow. Completing Feros again reminded me how much a hate the Turian member of the Council. I do actually like the Asari and Salarian. I guess maybe the Turian's still upset about the war. Poor guy. :sympathy:
He's the reason I disconnected every time the council wanted to talk.
http://www.gametrailers.com/video/ces-10-mass-effect/60755 From about 2:16 in, I get the feeling Casey was hinting at a definite romance with Tali.
2:36 background Electronics minigame?
Damn it. I can't decide who to choose for my love interest. Kaiden or Liara? I like Liara, but don't want to make Kaiden sad. He's a nice guy.

Pity steam always manages to be fucking expensive as fuck.
Yeah, the Turian councilor was a prick. I killed off the council, not because they needed to die, but I felt that the human population that would have died (All the Alliance ships) was more important to me. Sure the Council was important, but I'm Human, of course I would try and save my brethren that were actually trying to help other than a figurehead. Though I hope when I made Anderson the councilor that the races unify again.

Soldier video just went up: http://xbox360.ign.com/dor/objects/14235013/mass-effect-2/videos/masseffect2_trl_soldier_11210.html?show=hi [editline]06:20PM[/editline] I am loving how the cryo ammo actually freezes enemies solid, and incendiary lights them on fire... good addition to not only visuals, but gameplay as well.

Watching that video makes me now have no idea if I want to do Soldier still, or RP that Shepard entered a new level of badass by becoming a Vanguard.
2:30 outright confirms it: "We've also added the ability to have romances with some of the characters from Mass Effect 1 which you weren't able to in the first game." The only other person a male Shepherd could possibly have a romance subplot with is Tali.
I have this mental image of Shepard planting a big slobbery wet kiss on her helmet, with some car wipers popping out on the sides, wiping it away. [editline]05:47PM[/editline] Also remember the ME2 achievements? "Obtain Geth Technology" Code for make Legion a companion.
I have this mental image of Shepard planting a big slobbery wet kiss on her helmet, with some car wipers popping out on the sides, wiping it away.
That should be an easter egg, like Liara's head tentacles during the romance scene go Facehugger on you as part of the joining.
Also remember the ME2 achievements? "Obtain Geth Technology" Code for make Legion a companion.
Probable, since Legion himself is Geth technology. However, you CAN argue that it is talking about a deal you could make with Legion (A Deal with the Devil scenario) where you offer something and, in return, he gives you Geth technology which dramatically improves the Normandy SR2, your weapons, research, etc.
maybe he gives you his vagina
What if legion can become one with the ship? Reminds me of futurama
What if legion can become one with the ship? Reminds me of futurama
Legion and EDI totally are going to hook up.
I've decided that I'm going to be an Engineer in ME2. Although the class was quite poor in ME1 (since you had to rely on your squad mates for far fire-power more than they could provide) the improved squad AI, new tech abilities, access to heavier weaponry and no more armour restrictions mean it should be a much more fun class to play.
I don't see Legion as evil also illusive man sounds like some friendly old man [editline]02:01AM[/editline] the normany is like the sports car of space ships too
I don't see Legion as evil also illusive man sounds like some friendly old man
Even if Legion was considered "evil" I would still ally with him, an opportunity for Humanity to ally with the Geth (combined, Humanity and the Geth could probably wipe out the Concil Races easily) is too big to pass up. Also, we have no idea how old the Illusive Man is, he has had a lot of plastic surgery and implants (the eyes, obviously.)
Kaiden or Liara? I like Liara, but don't want to make Kaiden sad. Also, does your squad think you're a lesbian?
I know but from the Dirty Dozen trailer, the Illusive Man sounds like an old man
That's because he's voiced by an old main, albeit one with a sexy voice that fits perfectly with him.
That's because he's voiced by an old main, albeit one with a sexy voice that fits perfectly with him.
Yeah I love his voice
Yeah I love his voice
Although I still believe the voice to Garrus fits the best.
Although I still believe the voice to Garrus fits the best.
I like Anderson's lol
Remember, make 20 enemies scream and you get an achievement. Especially burn. Burn. BUUUUURRRRRNNNN! BURNNNNNNNNNNN! I think I have some problems eh? Oh well, I guess that is what being a Paragon 3 times does to you. And who knows, maybe if Tali stays alive, in ME3, you can finally romance her. Although, if there is a npc I want to see in ME3 as a squadmate, it would be that officer in Noveria(the person who wasn't corrupt, Matsuio or something, basically she is glad that the corrupt administrator and her sergeant got arrested and killed).
Garrus is by far the best character.
Garrus is by far the best character.
Agreed.
Garrus is by far the best character.
His voice fits his character the best, I bet his death scene in ME2 is an absolute tear jerker.
His voice fits his character the best, I bet his death scene in ME2 is an absolute tear jerker.
Yeah I kn- wait, WHAT!? Garrus can't die, He's way too bad ass.
Hell, for me, most squadmate deaths are tearjerkers, except a few during the first few playthroughs(thanks to KOTOR). I think Tali's death would be really sad, that and of course Shepard's death. Although the first death will be badassery(falling into a planet and burning up to a million pieces, FUCK SUFFOCATING BITCH).

Either that produces a massive tear jerker scene where everyone accepts they'll die, or it'll involve the Normandy (and Joker as a result) dying upon dropping you off.
