Or by lugging around the otherwise useless laser rifle. To beat barret, I ended up just spamming him with like 5 frag mines at once. the other two I pretty much just lamed my way to victory by stunning them with the flaregun, and spamming them with the explosive revolver. Unless you were a combat specialist, they were just boring and frustrating to fight. I've never played a "KILL EVERYTHING" Jensen, so I don't know if it's much more fun for them.
It's not much more fun, it's still boring as fuck. Barret easily dies to the barrels, but is still not a trouble with starting weapons. Mantis is piss easy if you have the electricity blocker or accidentally brought a stun gun, otherwise it takes a good 3 minutes of shooting to kill her with weapons from the same room. The main Tyrant shouldn't even be described, he is a piece of cake by that time. And the final boss sucks ass since all it can do is put 3 turrets, 4 bots and 6 "zombies", that are not even worth your bullets.
disregard video, masturbate furiously to adam's voice.
the two other douches talking kind of ruins the thing.

I'm thinking April Fools. :rolleye:
Who has ever posted here? Wow.
i think you are forgetting what day it is.
Damn the original game; even with a scope and my shots zeroed in entirely, that bloody 'randomized spread' aspect of every shot tends to make my traq crossbow bolts hit people in places other than the head, alerting them. Good thing I save before almost every enemy group, but bloody hell.
I'm thinking April Fools. :rolleye:
pretty shit one "I'll say that I'll buy them a game" "AND THEN I WON'T DO IT"

I am really annoyed by the fact that punching through walls kills a person behind it Also [sp]How are you supposed to save malik? Remembering paul from DX1 I am sure that you can do that, but she just dies instantly[/sp]
Holy christ the multiplayer of Deus Ex is BAAAD. You walk slow as fuck, weapons are horrible, and what I thought was a Rawkit Lawnchair turned out to be a Teleporter-Gun-thing.
I loved DX multiplayer, I actually played it longer then singleplayer
I will buy everyone who has ever posted in this thread Deus Ex Invisible War
April fools? [editline]2nd April 2012[/editline] I like how steam recommends me to buy IW
[sp]Kill/stun everyone as fast as you can[/sp]
[sp]I tried to stun everyone with a tranq gun but she just dies too fast I guess I just didn't have good enough weaponry[/sp]
[sp]I tried to stun everyone with a tranq gun but she just dies too fast I guess I just didn't have good enough weaponry[/sp]
You have to be aggressive with that part. This is a good way to do it. Spoilers of course. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QlMkvOrmr7Y
Should I get this on Pc or Ps3? If Pc I have to get a new graphics card, which can run it smooth.

Anyone been able to [sp]save malik[/sp] during the second trip to china? I've been trying to do it without killing anyone on "give me deus ex", but I'm having a pretty hard time.

I've been taking down the heavy armored guys first, but it's hard to run out of the open without being killed afterwards. I have limited tranquilizer and stun darts, I didn't expect this to happen so I thought I could just supply up while in china. :v
Run at em with hevay AR blazing. Should do the job nicely. [editline]2nd April 2012[/editline] Stun closest dude, take his gun, kill rest with his gun.
I did it all nonlethally. Gas grenades are key. Leave the snipers for last, they do the least damage. You need to concentrate on the heavily armored dudes, but if you aim correctly you can take out everyone on the ground with one gas grenade. I remember starting to run to the right side, throwing a gas grenade to the top floor to take out one gunner, throwing another to take out the people on the ground, and then going on a stun-gun spree. I never had ammo problems because I hadn't stunned, killed or used takedowns a single time earlier in the game (apart from boss). [editline]2nd April 2012[/editline] Also make sure when you use the EMP grenade on the heavy bot that there are no bodies too close by, or they can get killed in the explosion.

This worked fine. Took me 4 hours to go back, get all the shit, and pass it, but it was worth it. :v: And now I'm off to play the missing link. [sp]I'm supposed to when he jumps in the cargo crate after he sets that bomb off correct?[/sp]

I own Deus Ex, IW, and HR. I love all three of them.
I've run into some strange phenomenon where when I take down a person non-lethally, he always dies. I've tried the dart and stun guns, but it always shows the little skull notification by his body. I can easily run past him, of course, but I'm more worried about the fact that this could have happened with other enemies earlier on, which would ruin my non-lethal playthrough. The person in question is a baller in the Detroit sewers, near the destructible wall with the second hidden praxis kit. Has this happened to anyone else before? Anyone know why it happens?
Bought IW and HR:Missing Link during the sale, my collection is complete! Time to do a playthrough of all three.
Just finished it and the missing link with around 36 hours in total. :v: It was a great game. Are the stories in the first two just as good? I think I'll also buy the Icarus effect book.
