Got my arceus of global link. Gunna make it a normal type with extremespeed, return, shadow claw and recover. He shall be my elite four grinder into ETERNITY.
Nope, Aqua Jet, X-Scissor, Surf and Ice Beam
Maybe it's some kind of OCD, but I go insane when I see a pokemon with two attacking moves of the same type. My brother's Samurott has both Hydro Cannon and Surf, for example :v: PD: My Samurott has the same moveset save for Aqua Jet, it has Aerial Ace instead

Worked pretty well. Nipped choice scarf users in the arse while still being able to break down bulkier opponents.
I'm bored so here's a basic rundown of how my family has played pokemon. Dad: Tries to comprehend the basic type match-ups. Sister: Tries to understand the pokemon stats, move stats and type matchups. (Doing very well too) Brother: Catch the strongest one and fight. (If he loses once, he throws a fit.) Me: Understand the opponent pokemon's weakness, compare them to my stats and strength, then dominate. Mom hasn't played pokemon. She just likes watching.
my family couldn't give less fucks about my gaming i wish i had one that did, i would think it'd be kinda cool or neat...

She might be 10, and not able to understand her game that well, since she only speaks Spanish (Her game is in English, so she can learn.) but she is doing very well.
I guess I sort of do. I'm more of a collector, but I've been trying to get more into the actual game. The only tournament I've been to is the Next Destinies prerelease, and I lost all three rounds due to shitty pulls. If you're mostly interested in playing online, I'm not sure. I haven't done much with it, but recent sets always come with a code card in each booster pack that'll get you a booster pack in the TCGO. If you actually want to play the physical game, it would be a good idea to buy a couple theme decks, as these are a great source of Energy. Like the video games, there is a meta game, so you should keep this in mind when planning a deck. I may not be the best person to try to give you advice, but there's some.
Thanks for the advice, regardless. I think I might start with a theme deck then. I used to collect Pokemon TCG when I was a lot younger, but I didn't really play it. I guess I was more of a collector back then (I think I ended up selling my cards in the end). I don't know if I would be bothered to physically go to games, but I like that new card smell. :v:
gamer families suck, you never get the PC to yourself.
I've got my own computer, but I never get XBox time because my parents are on all day. :v:
Does anyone know a good trading site? I really, really need an Eevee egg for my Black.
I got a booster box of Next Destinies. Organizing all my pulls is going to take forever. The most interesting pulls would be Zekrom EX, Mewtwo EX, Zekrom EX full art, and Reshiram EX full art. No shiny, but at least I got one at the prerelease.
I could give you one but I have no idea how the trading system works. I have a dreamworld eevee so I could try and get you a female DW eevee, shouldn't take too long to breed.
another druddy rawrr

My friend code is 3912 2076 3211
Bugger, dunno if you'll get a DW eevee then, I'll give you the first egg.

Just postan one of my favorite tracks.
God damn the battle subway. Its hard.
Super Singles is pretty difficult.
Sigilyph seems to be a good pokemon for the subway. Worked for me.
God damn the battle subway. Its hard.
Depends, I'm using a Porygon2 there and for now I'm steamrolling everything (It's the normal single line, though)
God damn the battle subway. Its hard.
Garchomp their shit.
Garchomp their shit.
The only solution.
The only solution.
Suggested moveset?
Suggested moveset?
If you're going for a "sweeping" Garchomp: Shadow Claw, Brick Break (No pokemon can resist both Ghost and Fight attacks, not to mention Brick Break is useful against Ice-types), Dragon Claw and Earthquake (Both for same-type attack bonus)
If you're going for a "sweeping" Garchomp: Shadow Claw, Brick Break (No pokemon can resist both Ghost and Fight attacks, not to mention Brick Break is useful against Ice-types), Dragon Claw and Earthquake (Both for same-type attack bonus)
Nein. Substitute, Swords Dance, Outrage, Fire Punch/Earthquake. Rapes everything.
Sword Dance, Outrage, Earthquake, Firefang. Yachi Berry held, Speed and atk evs.
Nein. Substitute, Swords Dance, Outrage, Fire Punch/Earthquake. Rapes everything.
Not my kind of playstyle, I normally avoid moves like Thrash or Outrage because of the self-confusion downside (Certain items and abilities remove the problem, but still...) and because it makes your next attack(s) predictable. And for a sweeper I try to avoid status-boosting moves. Imagine that you use Swords Dance or a similar move and then the opponent uses an attack in that turn and wipes you out (Defense/HP stats on sweepers can be low) BAM! You wasted a whole turn.

I've been owning everything in the Single trains with my Gallade, till I get to the third round... Then I get my ass handed to me. What the fuck. It's not EV trained but it's wide moveset helps. Leaf Blade Psycho Cut Close Combat X-Scizzor I tend to be a brute-forcer. None of my Pokemon's moves in my entire team are a pure stat-raising or lowering move. All of them do damage. I'm a terrible trainer. Edit: And for some reason I want a Deoxys. Not to use but... Just to own. I don't know why. Missed all the WiFi events to ever receive it, and never got the event in the 3rd gen games.
