SeymourGuado confirmed for gen1 nostalgia zealot. Seriously, guys, the series has grown and improved with each generation. Some things got worse (mainly the music imo) but the grand majority of problems were all dealt with, the game is better nowadays.
Where did you find this? I would like to punch the creator in the face, but also congratulate them. Its awesome, but I don't like how they complain about it so much. It is the first game they ever made.
http://fuckyeahbetapokemonart.tumblr.com/ To be honest, Game Freak did a really choppy job with the first Pokemon games, but they managed to pull it off correctly. It's a good example of a good concept that even if it wasn't a top notch quality product it succeeded and became the huge franchise it's today, which is really remarkable and impressive. You can't deny there were a lot of not only glitches but also balance issues and stuff on those games :v:
SeymourGuado confirmed for gen1 nostalgia zealot. IMO the music is still great (Maybe a bit more weak in the RSE games, I just don't like much the GBA sound chip), specially in Black and White
Show of hands: Who here had internet access while the first two generations were a new thing, and believed in at least one of the Pokégod rumors? I know I did.

I know I did.
I remember hearing about Pikablu a lot, but not as a Pokegod (I first heard that word and learnt about the concept very recently). Also, as every pokemon rumour I came across as a kid, I heard it by word of mouth, not the internet.

I really dislike all these POCKETS and GEAR and long-winded, unskippable pre-game scripted tutorials.
Character design, no question.
Honestly its gotten better, gen 5 was shaky but still good.

I wish you could do multiplayer pokemon :(
co-op run throughs would be boss
Double battle the entire campaign. Hells yeah.
the mountain where you can catch EVERYTHING behind bills house
I heard that but with Glitch Island (You know, that thing involving the Safari Zone and the Underground tunnels in RBY), that if you managed to get to the grass patches you could find wild Bulbasaur/Charmander/Squirtle/Mew. The funny thing is that you couldn't find any grass patch tile most of the time, and even if you did, you'd be most likely trapped in void and unable to move in the middle of your way to them :v:
I remember that rumour where you had to surf near the SS Anne and use a lvl 100 Machamp with Strength to move the truck and find Mew. I actually got to surf to the truck but then I found out it didn't move.
Double battle the entire campaign. Hells yeah.
that's what pokemon colloseum was, and honestly the leveling felt so fast doing that, i'd be completely ok with it
Why the hell would you want to punch someone in the face for making a list of valid and gamebreaking flaws?
It's just the way they pointed out the flaws. They could have used a syntax that didn't make them sound like a dick. It was a great list. Just hate them for their use of words. Thanks for the source Jorori. Loved that it could be like lvl354 and still die from a lvl2 Pidgey, also the fact that if you put it in the pc that it would ruin your game.

What luck. Run into Tornadus randomly, decide to chuck an Ultra Ball at it with no damage as always in the off-chance I get it with a crit-catch. ... I got it with a regular catch. I was a little stunned.
I caught my rayquaza in Ruby with a pokeball. I went through 30 ultra balls. 10 great balls innumerable random balls. A metric buttload of pokeballs (80 I think?). Caught him with the LAST. FREAKING. POKEBALL.
co-op run throughs would be boss
Sadly, this would only be possible if Nintendo severely broke tradition. They'd need to make it for a non-Nintendo console, and let some other company handle some parts of the game.

But it's so laughably easy to make money in B/W I just buy a fuckton of Ultra Balls and other assorted things. Right now in my bag, I have 629 Hyper Potions. I had 700 but over the course of several E4 runs, grinding in the Nimbasa stadiums, and several other battle things, it starts to eat away at it.
I remember spending entire evenings trying to catch certain legendaries. [sp]I caught Palkia with the second ball I threw at him. Casualgamelolscrub?[/sp]
HO. LY. SHIT. I just encountered, and caught, MY VERY FIRST SHINY. Granted it was only a Tropius, not the most PLEASING colors, but hey. FIRST SHINY. Man my heart is still racing. It was a double battle, too, so I had to KO the Golduck first while making sure the auto-sandstorm caused by the Tyranitar didn't KO the Tropius. But I caught it with the first ball. Edit: I felt like taking a picture of my achievement.

Woulda preferred something else since I'm not a big fan of no-evo Pokemon, but Tropius is pretty cool. Sides I can't complain. Shiny.
Is it a decent nature?
EV train dat shit.
just got heart gold, gonna have me a nostalgiagasm (g/s/c were the first games I played) it's a shame you only get that thing that changes the music to the classic music at the very end of the game
What is a good way to grind before the E4 in black? I don't want to do it with my Arceus or Mewtwo.
