ooOooh, I see mountains. I hope it's more free room, kinda like RDR. That is, no more loading times between cities/maps.
This should be interesting. Finally a playworthy American revolution game.
Can't wait to see another incredible assassins creed CGI trailer.
They better drop the one city throughout the whole game style they have been doing in Revelations and Brotherhood. They probably will though since this will more than likely take place all over America.
Not gonna lie - I am not interested in this setting at all for this game. I've never had a strong interest in US colonial times, and the whole appeal of AC for me is the whole victorian/european assassiny thing going on, with swords, etc. Introducting guns in AC2 was a bit of a stretch for me, but they clearly were not in the limelight and were a very small part. This just seems really out of place to me on the other-hand.. And I don't see how they are going to incorperate the gameplay to work in obviously not-city areas. Though, the character being Native American is a pretty sweet touch. That will be cool, just on the merit of this being the first game I know about where you play as a native american during the American Revolution.

Oooh theory time. In the Game Informer covers we can see that in the CG pic the Assassin has only one tooth on his necklace, no blood on him and generally looks younger compared to the drawn version. So what if in the beginning we play as a young version of the character who only see's the war in black and white and mindlessly supports the rebellion but as he gets older the line starts to blur as he finds out that Templars are in-fact manipulating both sides of the war meaning that by the end he's fighting off both the British and the Americans.

Oh please, PLEASE be good
I predict that some point in the game, someone is gonna shoot a musket and end up hitting the wrong person because that's just how muskets were.

Was hoping for Victorian London, but this should still be sweet.
Gameinformer has shown us a full cover wrap around, front and back. With the blue coat tucked away.
Love the Native American theme they've chosen. That whole culture just blends beautifully with the Assassins Creed Lore.

the protagonist can't be native american if we're still playing Desmond's bloodline, unless he's mixed.
Something seems off about the boxart.
I'm really hoping they use multiple cities, important ones at the time like Boston, New York, Philadelphia, DC, and Baltimore.
the protagonist can't be native american if we're still playing Desmond's bloodline, unless he's mixed.
His skin is pretty dark tbh. [editline]1st March 2012[/editline] But that could be Altair in him. It could be both him and this Native American guy though. [editline]1st March 2012[/editline]
Something seems off about the boxart.
it's obviously a photoshop
the protagonist can't be native american if we're still playing Desmond's bloodline, unless he's mixed.
Mixed is a likelihood. Also, there are other ways of seeing memories other than the animus.
Mixed is a likelihood. Also, there are other ways of seeing memories other than the animus.
desmond is ambigously brown
it's obviously a photoshop
Considering how they are from official assassins creed facebook page, I kind of doubt it.
I felt kinda skeptical about this new character/setting, then I remembered I felt exactly the same when Ezio got revealed. Do want.
I better be able to roll up with my boy, Benjamin Franklin, and bust some heads. Everyone knows Benjamin Franklin likes to bust some heads.
