What is a good mod list to play through minecraft with? I just want to sink some time in while watching some shows and stuff, but original MC just isn't doing it for me. Is AMCO's any good?

I don't know if they're incompatible with anything on the list, but as far as I know it works with millenaire.
I'll check out the invasion mod, I like to have home defense too. Don't really want a high tech mod, I am a redstone enthusiast but I like to keep it vanilla for stuff like that. This includes planes/vehicles/guns because I think it'll ruin the magic and mystery experience for me.
Death chest isn't working, I put it into the mods folder and running modloader and forge. Should I just put it into the jar?
Is there an automatic grain/wood harvesting mod for 1.1 besides Forestry? I hate forestry.

Oy! does anyone know of any good map-editor programs? one that i can use to move a really really large portion of stuff and put somewhere else! McEdit did this extremely well and simple but that thing hasn't been updated since 1.8 and according to the creator it won't be. unless someone else picks it up.

What plugins are there for 1.7 that will generate land in the selected boundries? LIke if I wanted a 10k by 10k map pregenerated for a server.

Yes, but BetterDungeons' dungeons don't spawn on ExtraBiomes' additional biomes.

Where can I find a mapping program similar to Minotaur that will work with current maps? The version of minotaur that i have isn't working and I can't find a new version.

Thanks but it didn't work. I forgot to mention that it's a server file. MCedit just tells me that the file is empty of chunks.
It should work. I can open 1.2.3 maps in MCEdit 1.1.
