1.6ghz isn't going to run BC2 or any console ports well at all. Consider anything Source engine based, Stalker, metro, etc.
I've recently gotten Metro2033 for $12 at THQ's website. Looks very good on max settings, and plays a lot like HL2 except post-apocolyptic. So basically, good. Especailly for that price.
1.60ghz is awful. I used to have a 2.1 ghz and I could barely run BFBC2, let alone Metro 2033. You got screwed.
gta 4, i personaly cant stand it on pc but its fun nonetheless

[editline]03:31AM[/editline] Metro doesn't run well on it at all, in your case it might run better but I can only run it on medium with good fps on my laptop. [editline]03:31AM[/editline]
Pick two. laptop gaming good if you aren't moving around alot, like living in a different house every day, and you want to game then get a desktop, even if you go on a "long trip" every month its not worth it.
nope. [editline]03:32AM[/editline]
crysis warhead is better. but yeah crysis was fun, and the graphics made it even moreso
Yeah if you have to chose between Crysis and Crysis Warhead, I would recommend that you get Warhead.
Metro 2033, Crysis Series, ArmA 2/ArmA 2: Operation Arrowhead (more optimized), STALKER series, GTA 4, and Battlefield Bad Company 2. [editline]12:03AM[/editline] all have great graphics and are quite fun.
Remember Graphics dont make a gane.
a what?
Bad Company 2. Can you run Crysis? :smug:
Crysis is old now.
Mass Effect 2 is on sale on the EA Store
a what?
You underment what he stood.
1.60ghz is awful. I used to have a 2.1 ghz and I could barely run BFBC2, let alone Metro 2033.
Why do people still consider cyrsis as a "Can I run that game?" Didn't it come out like 4 years ago?
I need to run it on low settings and I still have some lag :crying:
If you are going to try to play games get a desktop, laptops are horrible for gaming
alien ware bro.
You underment what he stood.
Nice avatar.
Mass Effect 2 was insanely addicting
Download the Crysis demo just for the sandbox mode.
Crysis. The modding community for it is massive, and you can easily find enough custom maps to keep you going until the next ice age.
Why would they even bother making an i7 at 1.6ghz?
1.6ghz 8 threads yeah. [editline]10:07AM[/editline] I have the laptop right under the OP. Same specs, just i have a 5730. Runs bc2 at 20-60fps on medium, max res
alien ware bro.
You mean that pre-buildt overpriced piece of shit?
Just Cause 2
Crysis is old now.
Still, it's one of the most graphically challenging games out there.
I can't wait for 10 years until now. Look at the graphic updates since 2000. Imagine what the world of gaming will think of 2020.
Batman Arkham Asylum on PC,it has better physX effects and it has pretty good graphics and it's awesome
You mean that pre-buildt overpriced piece of shit?
Well you can't build your own laptop effectively, so pre-built is usually the only option.
get minecraft
get minecraft
This Also Just Cause 2, that's pretty. Cool laptop there bro.
And if you pick laptop you have another list: Gaming Battery life Pick either one. I have an ASUS G60VX, the one with the GTX260. The only reason I need it is because I'm in a different house every week and can't move my desktop around. If I didn't I would have just spent my 1100 dollars on a desktop overhaul.
who the hell uses a laptop without connecting it to a charger? i guess you do since you're a moron.
who the hell uses a laptop without connecting it to a charger? i guess you do since you're a moron.
I'm sorry, but what!? A laptop is made for portability, it's designed not to have a cable plugged in it constantly. You are clearly the moron for not realising this.
If you are going to try to play games get a desktop, laptops are horrible for gaming
Both asus and alienware make great gaming laptops.
good luck cleaning out the dust INSIDE the laptop 1 year from now, i had a toshiba gaming laptop which overheated and couldnt play games anymore because of that
