Does anyone know where I could find the soundtrack for this game? I absolutely loved it.
If you have it installed, there's a music folder somewhere.
This thread is making me want to reinstall it.

Haven't played this game in forever. Have the disks somewhere but I might have uninstalled it.
Reading this thread makes me want to get back into it. It's a shame they didn't get very far with it. Just one expansion pack and a relatively small audience.
Used to own this, lost the disks.
Had a near 40 minute long Scifi detective film in the works before I decided that I'd give up.
Hmm I cant seem to find any good sets anyone recommend some?
Not until you find a less creepy avatar.
I'm just kidding man I love you :3:
You can get the bluescreen set and some other stuff here. You'll have to sign up though.
The modern times radio guy is hilarious.
"ive heard this station is KMVS. What does that stand for? kindly move very slowly? Kick mens vadey(?) saddlebags? heh, am i getting warm?"
"what does this button do? gimmie a mo.. OH NO! ive just launched a nuclear missile!"
Right on man :hfive:
My copy of The Movies won't start, it says a debugger is active. How can I fix this?
I still have this, haha, but it fails to launch and crashes when it does like most of my old games do.
Loaded up Stunts and Effects the other night because of this thread. Played for about 5 hours.

Might replay this next time i've got a rain day off.
Fun fact: Most of the names of NPCs are of either Lionhead Studios staffers, and PCZone employees :)
There's a patch on Lionheads website, last time I installed it it ran fine on Vista.
I've run it on Vista and 7, and it had worked perfect every time for me on both.
Wish they still had this game on steam :(.

I do too. I'd pick it up again if it was.
Any clue why it got pulled off?

I heard Valve and the pub of the movies had a conflict.
Could be wrong.
Awesome game. Made a movie about men in dresses invading earth when chickens with western guns defend earth. sigh.. :(
I love the amount of detail Lionhead put into their games.
I always make myself in the "Star Creator" thing and make myself the No. 1 star in Hollywood by 1992 :buddy:
From what I know, it was removed from Steam because Valve ran out of keys and they couldn't buy any more or something.
Not sure, though. You can probably dig something up and find out exactly why.
Decided to finally find it and re-installing. I'm going to make a sequel to my movie.
It's going to include car-chases, and chickens. Robots and Rifles, and a whole lot more crap.
It was an awesome game for me. The Campaign sucked however because the reviewers didn't care about how scenes or plot is connected or even the name of the film. So I just slapped the most action-ish scenes and got 5/5 stars.
That is pretty accurate on what happens in the real world :v:
I really want to play this game again but it just won't work.
For those who wish to buy it but can't on steam:
It's pretty damn cheap on play.com, even if it is a hard copy rather than digital.
I still have my hard copy from before it was put on Steam :colbert:
It was even in one of those fancy pants fat cases.

So do I. I have the hard copies of the Vanilla and Expansion from their respective releases. :smug:
I got it in one of those fancy pants cases a few months ago.
Love this game, got the expansion with it, might see if it works on my laptop - It won't. The movies I made were always pretty shitty.
I still own this game. its fun.
