• Need a weapon imported into SMOD Redux 8

I'm not sure where else to ask this, but I would like the AWP from SMOD Tactical Delta (Yes, Tactical Delta, not Counter-Strike: Source) imported into SMOD Redux. I already tried it myself with poor results, so can a more experienced user can help me? :frown:
Bump due to lack of responses. There's only one sniper rifle in SMOD Redux, why not have another one? I like Tactical Delta's AWP but the game itself is laggier than my other SMOD games. :saddowns:
I've never really played S-Mod, but I'm assuming that you can't just "import" a whole new weapon..but you could replace the model really easy.

I tried it myself with poor results, so maybe someone who's more experienced can try it?
SMOD Tactical should come with a reference guide for the weapons, go look for it somewhere in the directory. If you found it, it should say your weapon of choice is weapon_custom1, or weapon_custom2, or whatever. Then look in the scripts folder for the weapon_custom file. After that, copypasta the code in the file (don't just copy the file, copy what's in it) into one of the weapon_custom files in the SMOD Redux directory. Be warned that this will replace one of the weapons in SMOD Redux (since it is one of the weapons in SMOD Redux) and I can't guarantee adding a new weapon_custom file won't work.

The skin for the hands were missing, there were no firing sounds, and the scope was completely dark when I looked through it. I probably did something wrong, which is why I'm asking if someone can fix this problem for me the best they can and upload it or something so I can use it.

Seeing as the game uses CSS hands you would have to port them into the game and I have no idea how to do that. As for the scope, that's because of the fact that the scope runs on some special effect that makes the scope 3D. You could try fixing this, but I would have no clue as to helping you other than to search through the mods files untill you find the right overlay/effect and add it in to the same spot on SMOD REDUX.
