Am I the only one not playing with Lydia?
I'm not going to play with Lydia on this character, she's not very stealthy... What's a good companion for a stealth character? Or should I just go solo? [editline]17th November 2011[/editline]
Is she even really that helpful?
Distraction, pack mule. :v:
Am I the only one not playing with Lydia?
The only companion I played with was Jenassa. But even that was short-lived. I hate being tied-down.
So does anyone know why my eyes glow blue?
so can you use the abandoned house in markarth for storage? it doesn't reset? [sp]molag bal said that you should take care of the house now that he's gone[/sp]
Is she even really that helpful?
She tanks most of the fights and can take a fair share of damage, is practically immune to dragons. Only problem is that she can't sneak for shit, she'll be spotted a mile away when I'm facing an enemy in sneak mode heads on.
What's a good companion for a stealth character? Or should I just go solo?
Jenassa. Her skills are Archery, Light Armor, One-Handed, Block and Sneak.
No, I've tried to cheat the bounty. It's a flag of some sorts. When I restart, I'm rolling khajiit again, don't know if I'll go female this time... I wish there was a khajiit mariable character. In the very least I want to roll something of a stealthy arcany thief, because one-handed light armor is just so piss weak. The problem is if you want to max enchanting you'll lose a good 10-13 perk point, the game really doesn't allow much for hybrid builds...
This is my biggest problem with the new leveling system. There are 280 perks in this game (counting levels of perks) and you can only choose 50. This means that you're forced to specialize in VERY few skill trees. Yes, you can level any skills you want, but that just leads us to another problem: You can have a skill at 100 and still have it suck if you don't put perks into it. Smithing is useless without perks and your actual skill in it means nothing except how close you are to the next perk. Magic will eat all of your magicka with the simplest spells unless you put perks into each tree. I'm not sure how to fix this entirely, but giving players 2 or even 3 perks per level (maybe that couldn't be applied in the same tree at once?) would be a good start. Can't wait for the mod tools to come out.
Well I guess that means my save folder size is about right then with it being 10gbs thanks....but is it really that insane to save after every little thing you do....now that i think about it, yeah I basically click save more times then I do actually playing.

The chest in front of High Hrothgar doesn't reset either. I like storing stuff in it since it's so close to where you spawn when fast traveling.

And smithing level is a huge factor in upgrading, you could technically just wait for good gear to come along and upgrade that, but it's such a good money maker. I can't wait for the mod tools either, I'm certain to give them a go... I have a list of things I want to fix and slowly expanding on it. I wonder if there's something out there that allows people to post their own things too, maybe a forum of some sorts. Any ideas on what would allow this? Even a simple form would do, but I'm afraid of security issues and all. Be one with that button, heck, I even use it in fights sometimes as thats the only way I can win it half of the time with the fucked up balance.
One implication of the leveling system is that although it is possible to create a character with 100 in all skills, it is not possible for one character to unlock all skill perks. There are more than 250 total skill perks (including multi-point perks), but only around 80 of them can be unlocked by any given character.
you can still use this
player.addperk <variable> - ( 000581e7 for Augmented Flames level 1 ; "player.addperk 000581e7") (To find the perk id type 'help "perk name" 4', then add each level in order). Make sure to put double quotes around perks with a space in them.

it's not 50. you can still use this
Yeah but face it, that's a lot of effort to add perks you want, equals to cheating pretty much and doesn't feel right at all. It's better than generic sharpen filter #1324
Skyrim. Sharpened edition.
[Sp]So any of you guys kill Para...I sure as hell didn't, instead I went back to those blade duo and shouted them off a hill[/Sp]
Okay so I can move the rings but I put in literally every combination (including the one on the claw) and it still won't open. Fuck this dungeon
Anyone knows where do I find a [sp]non-important high elf for the blood collection quest?[/sp]
I found an already dead one in the spike pit at the mine near whiterun.
Okay so I can move the rings but I put in literally every combination (including the one on the claw) and it still won't open. Fuck this dungeon
TCL through the door? Unless you're playing on consoles or something.
Am I the only one who wishes they could dismount from the horse faster ? The casual dismount doesn't really fit when you have enemies attacking you and you are taking your sweet time to get down carefully.
I like how you can use stolen ore/ingots to make weapons, and sell them back to the people you stole from :v:
it's not 50. you can still use this
Does that mean there is a level cap?
TCL through the door? Unless you're playing on consoles or something.
does tcl even work in skyrim?

I wish they released mod tools of sort for consoles. Unless there is DLC/Patches, I dont think this game is gonna get improved that muc. Its a great game, but it really limits how I want to play it.
does tcl even work in skyrim?
yeah, as long as you have nothing selected
I wish they released mod tools of sort for consoles. [t]http://filesmelt.com/dl/2011-11-16_000031.jpg[/t] This guy right here followed me through this whole dungeon basically. I started attacking him but noticed he never drew his weapon. I know he has a bow, but he never bothered taking it out. He just followed along and I never killed him. [t]http://filesmelt.com/dl/2011-11-16_000041.jpg[/t] Unforunatly, I went through the door I was supposed to go to in this room, and it closed behind me. I couldn't get him to follow so I went ahead a little bit thinking he was just keeping his distance, but he never came :(

Possible Three Wolf Moon reference in Skyrim? [t]http://www.snakeandsnake.com/3wolfmoon.jpg[/t] Might me late but it hasn't been mentioned on the easter egg page.
