Disco how old are you? If you're still a kid just tell your parents if they love you they'll buy you an awesome computer. Thats what i did. That doesn't work tell them in this society you need a top class computer to keep up with the world....and such. Idunno how your parents are though. I pretty much just told mine "get me this" growing up and it was done.
So, compared to Disco's computer, how good is mine?
deadly reflex isn't even hard to install as for your mod problem I say just start with the basics and work your way up, the only mods where it's best to start a new character are the overhauls
I wanted to install FCOM a while ago but it was brand new back then and the guides were terrible and I had no clue what I was doing, do you have a specific overhaul in mind to build my other mods on? I'm keen on lots of weapons/armour (lootables, I hate having to buy shit it's just silly when mods do that) and unique monsters to make dungeon runs fun, any ideas?

Makes the game more interesting
96 Celsius?!?! What the fuck.
It has no fan and overheats all the time. Also, this is like 1.x years old.
Oblivion and all the dlc is cheap as fuck due to the summer sale. Should I get it? Will the Steam version give me any trouble with mods?

Anybody got any mods in oblivion that allow you to sleep in any bed? A console command will do, as well.
Anybody got any mods in oblivion that allow you to sleep in any bed? A console command will do, as well.
open console, click item/door/bed, type setownership, hit enter

Why does OBSE always fuck up? Its the second time already. I just played it normally, it was late, I went to bed. The next day I wake up and OBSE says its an unknown version. And I can't fix it for shit. The last time I just stopped, and I reinstalled it after my Windows upgrade.
Clarification:I fear male dragon porn :v:
Okay as promised, some examples of weapons and shields that I think would be great to port from FF14 to Oblivion: Bows Crab Bow

Bow of Owls

Armored Cavalry Bow

Kokoroon's Nestpicker

Swords Frostbite (I'll probably add a frost damage enchantment to this one to fit the name)

Toothed Falchion

Iron Longsword

Flametongue (I'll probably add a fire damage enchantment to this as well)

Blunt Spiked Iron Labrys

Shields Serpent Shield

Vintage Kite Shield

Decorated Iron Scutum

I'm not sure about the stats but i'll try and make them as balanced as I can without them being too weak or too overpowered. I'll post some examples of armor and stuff next page.
Anatomically incorrect and physically impossible weapons :psyduck: Not vouching super realism in a fantasy game, but jesus christ at least make the weapon somewhat possible.
Anatomically incorrect and physically impossible weapons :psyduck: Not vouching super realism in a fantasy game, but jesus christ at least make the weapon somewhat possible.
How so? I can agree with the bows since the limbs are too thick to be nocked at all, but the swords, axe and shields look realistic enough.
Swords could use some scaling down. A lot of it actual- JESUS FUCK YOUR AVATAR. That like legity scared me lol
Anatomically incorrect and physically impossible weapons :psyduck: Not vouching super realism in a fantasy game, but jesus christ at least make the weapon somewhat possible.
I think you're forgetting the game has magic and demons in it.
I think you're forgetting the game has magic and demons in it.
That and some of the weapons are made of glass and some look like they were forged out of lava so yeah. [editline]1st July 2011[/editline]
it's probably a memory issue, gamebryo isn't good at memory management do these two things: 1)apply the 4GB patch to oblivion.exe and obse_loader.exe 2)install oblivion stutter remover, in the OSR ini file change the option breplaceheap from 0 to 1 these two, particularly the second one, will get rid of almost all memory related crashes
Oh my god GM you're amazing, no more crashes in that area whatsoever now :buddy: My FPS does drop down to 8 or so there but at least it's still playable.
That and some of the weapons are made of glass and some look like they were forged out of lava so yeah.
Glass is reminiscent of Diamond. Very hard glass-like substance produced by volcanic activity. TES Glass =/= Window Glass Ebony is a metallic volcanic material, like Uranium or something, but without the radiation. Daedric weapons are very high quality ebony weapons that have the soul of a Daedra forged into them. [editline]1st July 2011[/editline]
How so? I can agree with the bows since the limbs are too thick to be nocked at all, but the swords, axe and shields look realistic enough.
Swords are generally under 6 pounds, even the two handed scot Claymores. Those things in the pictures are huge and they are being held one handed. My main problem with those pics is some stick-figure JRPG girl is holding two handed broadswords in one hand. Not exactly TES style. The bows look impossible for the sake of impossible. [editline]1st July 2011[/editline]
Oblivion and all the dlc is cheap as fuck due to the summer sale. Should I get it? Well, with a little knowhow i'll be able to scale the swords so they're the right size. Maybe throw in a bigger 2 handed version in there as well. :buddy: The bows will be tricky since they require a bit of animating to work right so i'm not sure i'll be able to port those in tbh. [editline]1st July 2011[/editline] Since originally the swords were that big i'd assume they were designed to be wielded both ways anyway, which would technically classify them as bastard swords.

My friend has gifted me Oblivion and I gave him my soul. So what should I do after I finish downloading it?
My friend has gifted me Oblivion and I gave him my soul. So what should I do after I finish downloading it?
Usually after people download games they play it. (User was permabanned for this post ("Alt of permabanned user" - Craptasket))
How so? I can agree with the bows since the limbs are too thick to be nocked at all, but the swords, axe and shields look realistic enough.
What. Have you even seen a real sword or axe before?
