The battle of Windhelm is literally impossible. The dragon just flies in circles breathing fire on you and no one bothers to attack it cause they're too busy fighting each other.
Just checked, need 100 lockpicking for it. Want to buy locked chest and lockpics.
Anyone know how I get the Sky/clear skies shout? I'm at the Throat of the World quest. It says I need more dragon souls to use it and I don't know if I need to kill a specific dragon or just random dragons..
Can anyone answer this?
There's something wrong here.... [img_thumb]http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/650997180304885052/01325FBEA3991B754EA9D2E4C5CDED97CAAF53D9/[/img_thumb]
I can safely say Skyrim is one of few games that've actually been as good/better than I hyped them up to be.
I'd rather have my skeleton key back now, anyone who completed the quest knows how to get it back perhaps?
Can anyone answer this?
You just need any dragon soul to unlock it. When you go to the shouts page in the lower right corner it should say how many souls you have. After that press "R" to unlock the shout with the soul.
Can anyone answer this?
The guy should "give" you a dragon soul.
Yep, it's right there on the Perk Tree. The one that branches off at "Expert Lockpicking". I answered my own question. Looked it up on the UESP. Dragonscale Armor is better than Glass, but Dragonplate Armor is slightly worse than Daedric. As a Light-Armor enthusiast, I can't complain, but for you Heavy-Armor users, too bad I guess. What does Daedric Armor look like in-game anyways?
This guy naahkrin has killed me over and over again. Anyone got any tips on killing him?
Does all water look like that to you? Because oil is supposed to look like that, try using the flame spell on it.
rivers and lakes and such are normal, but little ponds and such inside caves etc are all like that. Maybe it is oil... if it is, oil really looks like shit. i just thought it was fucked up water, because i see it all the time. i wouldn't think that oil was this frequently found on floors...
What level should I be when doing the "elder knowledge" quest, I was level 10 and got right to the bottom of the dwarven dungeon passed a giant robot thing, then got insta-killed by a sphere robot.
Hey, I killed my first dragon and absorbed it's power. Apparently I'm a dragonborn. Hm. Who would have guessed?
How can you change back from [sp]werewolf form?[/sp]
I've begun to mark on my world map that came with the game where I've killed a dragon, got it on the wall right near me. Two marks so far.
You just need any dragon soul to unlock it. When you go to the shouts page in the lower right corner it should say how many souls you have. After that press "R" to unlock the shout with the soul.
Thanks, that fixed it.
late
Dunno if I'm late, but
This guy naahkrin has killed me over and over again. Anyone got any tips on killing him?
Poisons and paralyzing is damn effective. I've been getting a bug all day that doesn't let me to apply poisons to my weapons anymore, though.
How can you change back from [sp]werewolf form?[/sp]
Really no need to spoiler this, everyone knows they're in the game. The game itself tells you on one of the loading screens.
What spells are you using for fighting? So far I only found the firebolt spell, the flamethrower and the fire mine (and their shock and cold counterparts).
Companions quest line spoilers... [sp]You become a werewolf after you join.[/sp]
WOOOOAAHHHH. Sorry, why did you have to share this with us? On other notes I got drunk and married a "harpy" at least my drunken self tried to.

Now that how Daedric Armor should look. It still has elements of "Sauron Rip-off" that Oblivion had, but it's still much better than the Oblivion Daedric Armor.
Poisons and paralyzing is damn effective. I've been getting a bug all day that doesn't let me to apply poisons to my weapons anymore, though.
cool, i'll give it a go now, it's annoying as fuck though as I've got no healing potions.
How can you change back from [sp]werewolf form?[/sp]
Just wait for an hour. (Using the wait function, I mean.)
Skyrim marks the beginning of my transfer back to PC gaming. I've been gone too long. Still playing with a gamepad, though, because I like gamepads.
Dunno if I'm late, but
Consider how much better Midas' Magic made the magic system in Oblivion. Now carry that over to Skyrim, and orgasm.
So I'm trying to do the quest for the winterhold college where you have to align this oculory thing, but using flame/frostbite on the crystal thing does absolutely nothing. Was anyone able to get this to work or am I waiting for a patch?
anyone also get CTD's with no errors? just like pressing alt+f4
