Got it yesterday, can't wait to play after my exam monday morning. I've created myself an argonian mage, argonians look really really really good in skyrim. Can't wait to shoot some lightning at a dragon.
I always read your posts in bensons voice. So it sounds like you're always indifferent to things. :v:
you don't even need a 1h to be a battlemage. It's a lot easier (and better imo) to conjure weapons. They scale the more you use them (more noticably than 1h weapons scale) and are built in soul traps. [editline]13th November 2011[/editline]
now try it with TGM, no recharge time
TGM?
I'm playing as a mage type character, but I keep getting my butt kicked if there's more then 1-2 guys (I run out of magicka) Even though I have 300 magicka, and 75% bonus regen it doesn't seem to help at all. Yeah, I do have the perks to lower costs too, but it hasn't done me any real good. Any tips?
Oh god I was climbing these stairs in a barrow trying to sneak up on a draugr at the top of them. There was a pressure pad that I unknowingly stepped on on my way up but the full effect of it didn't happen until I reached the top of the stairs. A battering ram came swooping down from the ceiling which is the time that I sidestepped out of the way real quick. But not before it smacked the draugr upside his head and killed him. :v:
I've discovered Giants and Mammoths hate water. I've killed about 10 mammoths already, they don't go into water, and neither do the giants.
There a list of recommended ini or console settings to increase the graphical settings, disable vsync, mouse accel, etc?

I've discovered Giants and Mammoths hate water. I've killed about 10 mammoths already, they don't go into water, and neither do the giants.
Time to go kill me some giants.

If they do, Unrelenting Force 3 takes care of them very well. Also try and get some of the items that reduce how much mana it costs to cast spells. The robe you get at the end of the college questline is probably the best you can get. If you follow the college questline you get a mask that gives you 100% mana regeneration, and it stacks with the 100% from the Archmage robe.
Can anyone help me out with a problem I've been having with Skyrim? I can play the game just fine for a while, but after a certain amount of time, the game looks like it accelerates to high speed whenever I enter interiors. NPCs' mouths stop moving half-way through sentences.
I found Labyrinthian and got into the place to place all 8 dragonpriest masks - but the trouble is, I don't know where the priest dungeon locations are. I know the names of the places from the table at http://www.primagames.com/games/elder-scrolls-v-skyrim/primaguides/232/walkthrough/4718 , but not where those places are. If anyone could help me with screenshots or anything, it would be awesome and once I get all 8 masks i'll post what happens when I put them in. The location names are: Volskygge Labyrinthian ( I already know where this dungeon is and have the mask.) High Gate Ruins Shearpoint Ragnvald Valthume Forelhost Skuldafn (I already know where this is (Required to kill the priest for main quest, have the mask) Any help would be appreciated as to where the places are.
I really hope they release the toolset in the next couple of days...
TGM?
Godmode, it also gives infinite magic etc. This man can defy physics. It's like the matrix but with less clothing.

So what level is everyone and what is your highest skill level so far?
So what level is everyone and what is your highest skill level so far?
Level 18. Probably two handed is my best skill thus far
Found an NPC named Temba Wide-Arm.
i love that episode :)
So what level is everyone and what is your highest skill level so far?
Played for 9 hours, level 5 :C But I explored for most of that and have done an incredible amount of quests... 4 to be exact. I ALSO KILLED MY FIRST NON-QUEST RELATED DRAGON!!!
Open book tl;dr
So what level is everyone and what is your highest skill level so far?
Level 13. One-Handed is my best at rank 38, and Destruction and Lockpicking tie for 2nd at rank 33.
I read a ghost story in the game that describes a ghostly woman who sobs and laughs and threatens people with an axe. I wonder, could these stories have some merit and I can actually find this haunted cabin?
where is meekos cabin? i want him
So what level is everyone and what is your highest skill level so far?
19 or 20 (can't remember), and I believe One-Handed at 52.
1h 18m
So, I've decided to start collecting certain books; specifically A Dance In Fire, The Argonian Account, and The Song of Pelinal. It gives me a reason to check out bookshelves and allows me to reread my favorites from Oblivion, considering I haven't done so in a year or two.
Are there faster horses? The one you get at Whiterun rides like a donkey. If so, where can I get the fastest one. I have 15k sitting in my pocket waiting to be used.

Holy shit, some of these sidequests almost deserve another game! I've been travelling around doing the quest in that wizard College in that one city that was half destroyed by a tsunami or something like, 200 years ago for like, almost 6 hours now Also, has anyone else seen NPCs take down a dragon all their own? I walked into one of the villages in the forest and a dragon skeleton was just laying in the street, and I had nothing to do with its death Also, this is probably the most atmospheric game I've played in.....ever
holy shit i'm surprised for the amount of content that the game is only 6 gb
