Is the game crashing on getting to the main screen for anybody else? I'm installing the new nvidia drivers to see if it makes a difference, but I'm getting a little frustrated.
My god, I had that problem when it first came out and I almost died. Found a fix though, turns out it's something to do with your sound. Link to fix that shit and slay dragons: http://forums.bethsoft.com/index.php?/topic/1255536-game-crash-on-start-up/
Is content leveled better than in Oblivion, or are there still bandits with Daedric armor?
So have there been many easter eggs found yet? Only thing I can really think of is the The Madness of Mind quest where [sp]just about everything is a reference to Oblivion or Shivering Isles. Sheogorath says he was "there for everything" then lists a ton of stuff along the lines of "Butterflies, [some stuff], a severed head, and oh the cheese!" (Intro to SI, Dark Brotherhood mother's head, Sheogorath's khajiit town quest) and says Pelagiad the Mad is the best emperor apart from Martin Septim who doesn't count because he turned into a dragon. The guy who gives you the quest is the Priest of Mania from SI and he gives you the Pelvis of Pelagiad (Now called Pelagiad's Hip Bone) which was one of the things you had to collect in for the museum in SI.[/sp]
I found Labyrinthian and got into the place to place all 8 dragonpriest masks - but the trouble is, I don't know where the priest dungeon locations are. I know the names of the places from the table at http://www.primagames.com/games/elder-scrolls-v-skyrim/primaguides/232/walkthrough/4718 , but not where those places are. If anyone could help me with screenshots or anything, it would be awesome and once I get all 8 masks i'll post what happens when I put them in. The location names are: Volskygge Labyrinthian ( I already know where this dungeon is and have the mask.) High Gate Ruins Shearpoint Ragnvald Valthume Forelhost Skuldafn (I already know where this is (Required to kill the priest for main quest, have the mask) Any help would be appreciated as to where the places are.
Is content leveled better than in Oblivion, or are there still bandits with Daedric armor?
There appears to be minor adjustments to your level, but for the most part low level areas stay low level and high level areas stay high level.
This may be a stupid question but how do I unlock shouts? I says I need dragon souls when I have killed some dragons and absorbed their souls. Is there something else I'm missing?
I'm pissed...A bunch of Magical Aunomolies attached Winterhome and Lydia disappeared... I can't find her! I don't know if she's dead and I can't find her at her hometown either.
Some headless horseman ghost thing just rode past. I didn't have a horse, so i couldn't follow it [t]http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/613842483384731629/CEB4496FEC5C2679B7C139EE4D4BD80D77DDCD10/[/t] Also I can't find any mines with the metal other than iron that you need to make steel.
This may be a stupid question but how do I unlock shouts? I says I need dragon souls when I have killed some dragons and absorbed their souls. Is there something else I'm missing?
Click them/navigate to them and press R. [editline]e[/editline] I really don't know what I'm doing wrong, I've asked.. 3 times already, but [sp]On the Blindsighted Thieve's Guild/Nightingale quest, after I go through the door to the large cavern with the statue it goes through the routine dialogue up until Mercer goes 'Karliah, when will you learn you can't get the drop on me?', at that point everything is completely still (Aside from reflections, shadows, etc that HAVE to move.). I'm not able to walk around, open my inventory, go into 3rd person or anything. It's just still, and that's basically it. I've restarted my save multiple times, even to when we just enter the cave system, yet it never fixes. (I'll upload a video if anyone is willing to help.)[/sp]
Why are Giants attacking me on site? Can I make them friendly?
Click them/navigate to them and press R.
Thanks.
Found an NPC named Temba Wide-Arm.

Especially when people are watching and one of them says "you be careful." :v:

It took me 10 hours to figure out you have to hold A to pick up stuff on 360.
Why doesn't the launcher work for me? I can run the straight .EXE file but the launcher just crashed immediately, thus making it impossible to play on Steam. Any ideas on how to fix?
Got it yesterday, can't wait to play after my exam monday morning. I've created myself an argonian mage, argonians look really really really good in skyrim. Can't wait to shoot some lightning at a dragon.
I always read your posts in bensons voice. So it sounds like you're always indifferent to things. :v:
you don't even need a 1h to be a battlemage. It's a lot easier (and better imo) to conjure weapons. They scale the more you use them (more noticably than 1h weapons scale) and are built in soul traps. [editline]13th November 2011[/editline]
now try it with TGM, no recharge time
TGM?
I'm playing as a mage type character, but I keep getting my butt kicked if there's more then 1-2 guys (I run out of magicka) Even though I have 300 magicka, and 75% bonus regen it doesn't seem to help at all. Yeah, I do have the perks to lower costs too, but it hasn't done me any real good. Any tips?
Oh god I was climbing these stairs in a barrow trying to sneak up on a draugr at the top of them. There was a pressure pad that I unknowingly stepped on on my way up but the full effect of it didn't happen until I reached the top of the stairs. A battering ram came swooping down from the ceiling which is the time that I sidestepped out of the way real quick. But not before it smacked the draugr upside his head and killed him. :v:
I've discovered Giants and Mammoths hate water. I've killed about 10 mammoths already, they don't go into water, and neither do the giants.
There a list of recommended ini or console settings to increase the graphical settings, disable vsync, mouse accel, etc?

I've discovered Giants and Mammoths hate water. I've killed about 10 mammoths already, they don't go into water, and neither do the giants.
Time to go kill me some giants.

If they do, Unrelenting Force 3 takes care of them very well. Also try and get some of the items that reduce how much mana it costs to cast spells. The robe you get at the end of the college questline is probably the best you can get. If you follow the college questline you get a mask that gives you 100% mana regeneration, and it stacks with the 100% from the Archmage robe.
Can anyone help me out with a problem I've been having with Skyrim? I can play the game just fine for a while, but after a certain amount of time, the game looks like it accelerates to high speed whenever I enter interiors. NPCs' mouths stop moving half-way through sentences.

I really hope they release the toolset in the next couple of days...
TGM?
Godmode, it also gives infinite magic etc. This man can defy physics. It's like the matrix but with less clothing.

So what level is everyone and what is your highest skill level so far?
