Anyone have any idea what's the deal with this.. certain light orb? I will not tell where exactly to avoid spoilers, but if anyone encountered it, share! :v All I know is.. it likes to SURPRISE YOU. A really cool(dirty) surprise. Click link below to see what I mean. It's only it's first step. http://i39.tinypic.com/xlc5t0.jpg Edit: Oh yes, you saw what I just did there.
jezus fuck dwarven centurions my GOD.
dude you have no fucking idea, those falmers just get more beefy.
well SHIT
Is there enough room to go both 1H+Shield (No duel wield), Heavy Armor and 2 Hander in terms of perk points and progression? I'm sticking to the armor, but both fighting styles have their merrits and flaws. If only I could wield a Battleaxe and a shield together :v:
To all of you having issues with Falmer, I have avenged you!
The steel smithing perk doesn't seem to have an influence on improving steel weapons for me - I can improve them all the same without the perk, and the perk doesn't increase the points by which the weapon is improved either. Is it supposed to be like this?
I managed to steal the [sp]mythic dawn commentaries from the museum.[/sp] This will make an excellent addition to my library.
OK, so I was getting those FPS dips like crazy. Turns out, for some reason, alt-tabbing and going back in gets my fps back up to 80 indoors but it eventually goes back down to the 30s for some reason. It especially dips after entering a place that needs a loading screen, hopefully I can just use alt tabbing to get around these dips until a fix comes out.
Pressing ESC clears the memory usage as well So do that instead of alt-tabbing Happy to help!
The very best thing about this game is the amount of effort, dedication and variety you see in the places you explore in my opinion. I just did a quest for the companions where I had to go kill two frost trolls in this icy cavern, and there was a giant but thin icy bridge in the center of this large circular area. Managed to kill both and then decided I would experiment by jumping down into the water below the bridge, even though it was really far down. I survived and found an entirely new cavern with loot in. I am at level 18 at the moment and I make a habit of dual wielding Skyforge Steel Swords, because they look awesome and because they kill anything less tough than a guard in 2-3 power attacks.

Reposting once for new page.
Is there enough room to go both 1H+Shield (No duel wield), Heavy Armor and 2 Hander in terms of perk points and progression?
Reposting once for new page.
Normally that should be an option if you spread your usage enough, I'm combining dual wielding with full-on magic and I'm advancing in both at an acceptable rate.
Some really should update the OP getting quite outdated.

Is it supposed to be like this?
You have to improve you Smithing skill as well as choose the perks to improve weapon types beyond their normal 'Superior' upgrade. For example, I wasn't able to make all my weapons and armor Flawless until my smithing skill was at 56 or 57, even though I had already chosen the perks for their armor/weapon set earlier.
jezus fuck dwarven centurions my GOD.
My very first Centurion, there was a falmer miniboss in the same room so I kept getting raped repeatedly. Eventually I just led the falmer out of the room, then came back in and the centurion barely even attacked me while I wailed away, and my finishing blow was like my battle ax going straight into it's stomach, then the centurion bending over struggling before dying. It felt badass.
this game is fucking awesome so far, a real improvement over oblivion. Just killed my first dragon which was pretty fun
not scripted, coincidence (I assume the cell has a spawn chance) I never got a fucking dragon there, had to take everyone out by hand. was fun
Then there's definitely an increased chance of it appearing, or something triggers it. I doubt myself and 3 others i've seen got it there by coincidence.
The hell? Killed some random bandit and went to loot him and he had a Bee on him.... must of been his pet or something i guess.
well, I played my first 2 hours...jarl's daughter is a bitch...
When I finish the main quest. Will I still be able to encounter dragons ?
Well, got some more detail about my problem, some essential NPC named [sp]Vigilant Tyranus[/sp] is attacking me for no reason in Markarth. Is there a cheat or anything to calm down NPCs, since I'm not an imperial? He doesn't accept yields, and since he's essential to something I can't kill him. He's been Tai'd for now.
My first random dragon(s) encounter. One was breathing fire and the other was breathing ice. The fire one won. Also hurray for flying things.
I was looking at some lets-play videos of this, and it struck me as to how terrible this game looked. I was like "is this it? This is that RPG people have been looking forward to for years?". Then he got to some Nord viking village, and it was like the art and aestethics instantly got a 1000% better. Really makes you wonder why the first village looks so terrible.
You know when you have to [sp]infiltrate the Thalmor party?[/sp] I gave the guy all my equipment and weapons, now just before going in, a fucking Dragon arrives (obviously the NPC won't respond anymore and before I can continue I have to kill it). Gonna rip that fucker's head off with my FISTS
Bought oblivion like 10 minutes ago with paypal, but the confirmation hasn't showed up in my mail and it isn't in my games list :tinfoil: wat do
Well hello there Also I've played 40 hours of Skyrim jesus christ

Anyone know where to get the orb that fits in the Atronach Forge?
I fucking hate it when blood dragons grab you with their mouths and throw you It's an instant kill no matter how much health you have.
Man wards are pretty awesome, great for fighting dragons because you don't have to get spammed to death by frost breath anymore. I swear there are more frost-breathing dragons in Skyrim than fire-breathing ones, and that's just fucked.
