If Minecraft ever get to full version, what kind of rating do you think this game might get? (ec) Early Childhood (E) Everyone (E10) Everyone 10+ (T) Teens (M) Mature (Ao) Adults Only (RP) Rating pending
E10 Mild violence and scary themes with the mobs and all, but in all other aspects it's suitable for any ages. [editline]19th April 2011[/editline] And the fact that you can't use a microphone is probably the deciding factor.
I guess that's true. Minecraft have some Horror elements to it
E10: Mild violence, scary themes, slightly complicated (to 7 year olds who play minigame collections on Wii) ideas. Online interactions not rated by ESRB. (if they were AO because if giant penises, swearing and whatever)
Adults only for sure this game is like going to a slaughterhouse
E for violence. Fear and horror elements aren't listed as content descriptors.
RP is only used for games being advertised that have currently not been through the ESRB rating process.
E10 Not only the factors mentioned, but a child under 10 would probably have some trouble getting into the game and it might be a bit too complicated.
RP is only used for games being advertised that have currently not been through the ESRB rating process.
Or that a certain country uses to pretend that it never went through the ESRB rating process so they can prevent it from being released as they're a bunch of dumb old farts with too much power in their hands and therefor despise things that are exciting.
I think it should be E, because smaller kids could just set it on Peaceful. Hell, my 4 year old brother plays it, and he's damn good at it.
adult omg I don't want my perfect children playign this it's way too violent I can't believe!!!!! people play this for entertainment lets ban it

Unrated because it's probably never going to be a retail game.
I remember when I played my first E10 game. Midnight Club Dub Edition. My First M was probably Conkers bad Fur Day.
Peaceful mode and Classic: Suitable for everyone Easy mode and up: 10+ due to enemy mobs, scary caves, the Nether and for being much more complicated.

E. It'd probably have "cartoon violence" or something on the rating.
E. It'd probably have "cartoon violence" or something on the rating.
Fantasy violence, to be more precise.

Judging by how other games are rated, I'd say this would definitely be E10.
If it had a rating, it should say this at the beginning: "Online interaction, mods, and players' creations not rated by the ESRB."

Ao. I don't want no kids in my servers!
It would be E10. If Portal 2, which has less violence, gets E10, so should Minecraft.
Ao. I don't want no kids in my servers!
So you want kids? Fucking double-negatives.
I remember when I played my first E10 game. Midnight Club Dub Edition. My First M was probably Conkers bad Fur Day.
I loved Conkers bad fur day. Not that shit fuck of a sequel that was released for Xbox though. That shit sucked!
MR for the mentally retarded
EC because you can disable mobs, and it teaches cooperation and design.
E10. Kinda scary, violence.
A for autistic.
E10 for Cartoon Violence.
