I hate how laggy it seems when you are playing with other people.
I hate how laggy it seems when you are playing with other people.
yeah ikr you n me glitched twice cuz of it lol
I've played this game a ton and it never gets laggy for me, unless the host absolutely sucks.
yeah ikr you n me glitched twice cuz of it lol
Nah the lag wasn't causing that, it seems that's a common glitch.
I want to play this game so badly again, but I can't find my Xbox 360 controller
I want to play this game so badly again, but I can't find my Xbox 360 controller
You know, I might actually start playing again just with the 360 controller too.
Ok, so, my friends and I are very curious about this game. Looks totally badass. What we want to know is, just for regular gameplay, how much is this going to cost us? I know there's no sub fee or anything, but I understand there's some sort of token system for getting into battles?
The token system is gone now, and it never cost anything anyway. The game costs $0 to play. What costs money is customization (underwear, hairstyle, tattoos, etc) and enhancing your weapon. Enhancing is free, but from +6 to +10 it has a chance to reset to +0, and above that has a chance to destroy your weapon. You can buy enhancement runes, which eliminate the chance of resetting. I got a +8 with free enhancing, but buying runes guarantees a +10. This only matters for level cap though (and still is completely unnecessary)... until then you'll just keep getting new weapons. Basically the cash shop is entirely optional. Especially since this is a co-op game, so just getting a decent weapon is all that matters as long as you're a decent player. Many of the best players in this game make a point of never spending anything in the cash shop.
I used to play this all the time, but I got really bored with it recently. Anyone on east server and have a vent or ts?
Start playing it on the 16th when Karok comes out. Also, this game is GREAT fun with friends. Bosses get pretty finicky later on so tactics are a pretty big deal. Anyone else feel this game's underrated? I think it's one of the best free games out there right now, albeit a bit grindy.
I enjoyed the game for a bit. But I just can't take the grind. It's something I play for a week or so. Then take a long break.

Someone tell me when this game gets super cool like in the trailers.
after a week playing with friends. More or less depending on how much you play every day.
Someone tell me when this game gets super cool like in the trailers.
It does. It's pretty epic gameplay, and the cutscenes are somewhat emotional.
Anyone else remember Goblin plastic surgery? :byodood:
It does. It's pretty epic gameplay, and the cutscenes are somewhat emotional.
What? Seriously?.. there's more cutscenes now? The only one I've seen is the beginning with the giant spider.. Gameplay is still repetative though, right?
There's like no good cutscenes. I don't know what they are talking about. There's a cutscene at all the bosses, and the characters have these memory sequences where they think about when they were kids / whatever. Personally I think every cutscene is terrible, but they certainly aren't helped by the voice acting (Black Hammer). The gameplay is already "epic" as you see in the trailers once you hit around levels 30 to 40 or so. This has been in the game for a long time now. Its fun and pretty intense at times. The gameplay is certainly repetitive, but you keep getting new skills and upgrading your current ones, and fighting new bosses and stuff. For me, the game had enough new stuff until I hit the final dungeon that is currently released. Once you've done that, there's just no reason to keep playing, aside from farming for money. In my opinion, you really can't judge the game until you've at least passed Blood Prince, cause the game doesn't really open up much until after then. Its just too bad that the opening of this game is even more repetitive than the rest. This game desperately needs arena, survival, PvP, SOMEthing to keep players like me, that have already completed all the dungeons, playing. I haven't even bothered with the Thor update, and I probably won't even return for Karok, because I know that if I do, I'll finish everything new in like 5 hours and be disappointed that there's nothing left to do again.
I want more missions like "Friends?" This is the kind of game where you NEED a neverending gauntlet of mooks somewhere.
Yeah I agree. Gauntlet mode can be pretty fun because of this, having multiple bosses to kill at once. Friends is neat when you're at the level for it, but as soon as you pass the level its too easy. Later levels of Labyrinth are also threatening, having to fight multiple evil Evies, Fionas, and Lanns at once. But that's more threatening cause they play so cheap, having extra health and Evie being able to spam Blind Arrow for some reason... its less "fun" intensity and more "what the fuck, that isn't fair, especially after I've spent 60 minutes in this damn labyrinth" intensity. Later dungeon levels could do the "Friends" thing well if they threw in the suicidal fire guys, Meperdu guys, giant club-swinging ogres, and some ranged guys. I don't know why they don't do the "Friends" thing again in any later dungeons. Every damn dungeon is fighting through 4 stages of useless trash, then fighting a boss. Mix up the game already. Overwhelm us with mobs, L4D style. SOMETHING. Get some imagination already, level designers!
Have they added the totem-wielding burly (black?) guy to the NA version yet? I kinda got tired of the same 2 or 3 characters
5 more days
Where's my Xbox controller :saddowns:
So I re-downloaded the game, and now I'm bored. It feels like I left long enough to where everyone is now either lvl 1 or 60. Nobody to play with as a lvl 30 :[.
I'm level 28 and play at the East Coast servers. Hit me up you fools
38 on west seems to be a rather large lack of quests 36-40
