[QUOTE=Raidyr;34142891]Kaliyo comes back from a failed diplomacy mission "Need anything else?" Yeah bitch I need someone to read a book on diplomacy.[/QUOTE] Yeah they def. need to fix the dialogue for that. Every time it's like "Not my best work..." :Successful or "I'm sorry master! It won't happen again!" : Successful.
Finally got myself to watch the original movies, now I'll be able to enjoy this game even more.

I was expecting a patch today too, I just want them to fix the thing where people can't log in, my friend hasn't been able to play for a week. Error code 9000 is a bitch.

I have an invisible wall in front of me and the usual cant attack/change equipment for about 5-10 seconds then actual disconnect from server.
Where do I get crafting materials such as First Aid Kits? [editline]10th January 2012[/editline] oops never mind
Anyone else on Drooga's Pleasure Barge server?
So is slicing nerfed to death or is it still usable? I can get some class 1 lockboxes with 63 credits in it. the missons cost 95 :\ [editline]10th January 2012[/editline] Also, selling crystals on market place. I get the item sold mail with no credits attached. Why does it keep doing this? [editline]10th January 2012[/editline] Also, is there any way to change the color of clothing items?
[QUOTE=legolover122;34150488]So is slicing nerfed to death or is it still usable? But if you want to easily make money without having to sell anything and to just afk you can slice still. [editline]10th January 2012[/editline] Does anyone know how profitable Biochem can be early on compared to Slicing?
One last question (for now). After a while, I see that republic characters go to coruscant for their next planet. Do empire characters go to a different second planet?
Yes.
[QUOTE=legolover122;34150488]Also, selling crystals on market place. I get the item sold mail with no credits attached. Why does it keep doing this?[/QUOTE] When the item sells you get a mail that tells you you'll receive the credits in one hour. That might be why.
I'm leveling Biochem right now, should I sell the stuff I make or reverse engineer them?
Ugh the Trooper companions are so lame...
Any Operative healers have recommendations on which companion to use for solo questing? I've been using Vector because he likes my Light Sided-ness and outputs reasonable damage, but he's a little fragile.

[QUOTE=legolover122;34150831]One last question (for now). After a while, I see that republic characters go to coruscant for their next planet. The first place you'll actually meet an opposing faction player is Nar Shaddaa, and even then only in the bonus area
[url]http://massively.joystiq.com/2012/01/10/bioware-responds-to-the-old-republic-performance-issues/[/url] [quote]Many Star Wars: The Old Republic players have raised complaints on the official forums about the game's technical performance. A disconcertingly large number of users report poor framerates despite lowering the game's graphic settings or running the game on a high-end PC. BioWare, however, is not convinced that there's anything wrong with the game, and instead the company asserts that users' lame rigs must be to blame. OK, not really. But game director James Ohlen told Eurogamer that "most players aren't really having performance concerns" and chalks the reported performance issues up to low-end hardware. He goes on to add that "[the team] knows that it's important that there is a smaller group of people usually with lower end machines that are having problems in some areas. And one of the most important things for [the team is] to grow [its] service is to continue to bring in more players, including those players who only have low-end machines." In light of this, the studio has a team of developers who are devoted to fixing performance-inhibiting bugs, so if all goes well, we poor low-end-rig-users will be able to play the game comfortably soon enough.[/quote] I hope they come with this soon, I can hardly run the game on my laptop.

[QUOTE=Skyward;34151125]Ugh the Trooper companions are so lame...[/QUOTE] The only thing I don't like about them is they all seem to have the exact same personalities, likes, and dislikes. Doesn't add much variation to conversations.

If someone's using a damn quad core I doubt steam or one of a million other programs running in the background is going to rape your performance.

And I know Steam running in the background wont cause fucking performance issues ingame. I'm talking about people with large amounts of programs open that are using all their RAM, having viruses that slow their pc, or doing something like recording with fraps or streaming. [editline]10th January 2012[/editline] And having a million programs running in the background certainly can rape your performance.
Warzones have the most impact on my framerate (Alderaan being the worst)

People have already tried all that shit, myself included, the game only uses 3GB of RAM, I have 6GB of RAM and the while running the game only 65%~ of my RAM is being used, most of it by SWTOR and the rest by windows. It's not a problem with my computer it's a problem with this game's shit engine, I can run BF3 on a mix of high/ultra at 40 FPS for fucks sake, but I can't get past 30 FPS with SWTOR, on any settings.
I'm not going to sift through 100 pages to prove your argument to be correct. RAM isn't the only factor that affects performance. Congrats, you can run an FPS that has like, what, 32 people on one server? Whereas an MMO has hundreds, or thousands. [editline]10th January 2012[/editline] I run SWTOR completely fine on max settings at 1920x1080. It's your PC.
i5 2500k @ 4.6, 8gb ddr3, gtx 570. performance is shit, same at 800x600 as it is at 1920x1080, no settings change anything. next pc, c2d e8400 @ 3.2, 4gb ddr2, gtx 275, all max at 1440x900 100fps k [QUOTE=Biotic;34153783] It's your PC.[/QUOTE] I hate this argument when it works fine for someone even though many have problems they shouldn't be having in the first place.
