Could you explain to me the science behind those engines? Why do they thrust down a ramp?
umm. I don't really know. They are like 30% more fuel efficient in air by using he pressure of the air as it's nozzle it adapts to atm pressure as it encounters it. or something. [t]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/46862728/kspchromethemenewtabpage.png[/t] Okay, this is what I have so far for the new tab background. Add suggestions, give criticism, etc. I'm going to sleep now... [editline]8th January 2012[/editline] And its obviously not done.
need an opinion windows. tempted to have no windows for they are all ugly.
If you want windows, the second one looks a bit better.
I think I will just go with windowless :/ they are so ugly lol.
No, that just seems weirder. The second one looks pretty decent actually.
eh. I am unhappy with them. Kliper has no windows :P [editline]9th January 2012[/editline] pretty decent is still not so great. alittle closer. still dislike it compared to windoless.
That is the best of the three.
How about havint the window as a strip down the shuttle instead of across (so that it kinda resembles a attack helicopter cockpit)
Those windows look great! [editline]9th January 2012[/editline] Edit: Also Silisko is getting very full of himself: http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/forum/index.php?topic=5347.0 He has 'spoiler' tags for his upcoming "products". And you click on one of them (Operation Pretzel) and it's just text that reads "Classified". I swear, this guy is letting his 'fame' get to him. He really needs to pull his head outta his ass. Mr. Box, I can't wait until you're done your SSTO vehicle so I can stop using that crappy Vanguard shuttle.

I mean think of it like this, you create a engine, and you only release a picture of the model, somebody can say "Oh hey, the name sucks you should change it." however when you change a parts name you cause issues since the craft will identify it as a missing part, so if you don't have it released you still get some critique but nobody ends up with a broken rocket.

Spend too long in that place and it'll happen to you too :v:
Hopefully in a future update they will allow a cockpit view mode so that you can see what the Kerbins see. Also, my first ship(stockparts) reaches orbit and back or moon and not back.
Hopefully in a future update they will allow a cockpit view mode so that you can see what the Kerbins see.
If they ever do pull that off (and I dearly hope they do), it needs to be very immersive. It needs to make you feel helpless and tense. But most importantly, it needs a special "smash head on panel" button.
I am disappointed that there isn't any star wars addons after KSP was released for such a long time
http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/forum/index.php?board=7.0 Request some star wars shit here
decided to lok at my favorite plane windows such as tu-4, b-36and c-130. Endded up going with this after much trial and error of size and position. :) I like it. makes it look big with tinier windows. and lets not fool our selves. it is huge..... and lets not be so hard on S. He makes a good mod. (even though his shuttle is.... awful quality and a rush job in my opinion) but i like how all his stuff is like the stock stuff and interchangeable. nothing is really unmatching texture wise and it works well and it not OP. He is just lucky I cannot modell for the game 24/7. if i was paid for it i would though :/ lol I have so many plans but so little time. if only i didn't need to sleep ever or try and get some.
Hey guys, it made its way on to the Yogscast! Sips is playing it, though. :v: [editline]9th January 2012[/editline] Oh god he's so bad at it.

I can't watch it yet unfortunately. Still in class.
How big is that thing?
large but not too big. that is the 1meter stock pod there.
Woah that's p. big. Too be honest I haven't been overly excited with the stuff you've made before, but this looks awesome!
Could you explain to me the science behind those engines? Why do they thrust down a ramp?
To force the thrust into a pseudo engine bell, increasing the amount that goes along the intended path (directly behind the ship).
you disliked me previous stuff? as for the size. it only looks big because of the width and bluntness. If you compare the size to the shuttle and the component shuttle mod. it is all about the same size :) he uses 3 1 meter engines. I use 7 1 meter engines. they scale pretty well :D
you disliked me previous stuff?
I didn't dislike it, I just didn't care much for it. But this looks great!
I think that a big shuttle for once is only good.
